Our very own baseball betting specialist has gone a terrific 11-3 with his MLB totals this week. He has two more MLB totals for Sunday that are detailed in this betting preview article.

A’s vs. Angels 3:35 PM ET
The A’s Sonny Gray has been outstanding in his four starts during day games in 2015. In those outings he’s posted a microscopic 0.69 ERA. The A’s right-hander has also displayed terrific form during his previous four starts, posting a stellar 1.33 ERA, and compiling a better than 5:1 strikeout to walk ratio. Gray needs to be very good today since his teammates are averaging only 3.3 runs per game, and hit a poor .231 as a team during their previous seven contests.

Matt Shoemaker looks as if he’s finally rounding into form after enduring a very rough beginning to the season. In his last three starts, Shoemaker has posted an excellent 1.45 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. The Angels are averaging just 3.1 runs per game and hitting a terrible .218 as a team during fourteen matinee affairs in 2015.

I like this game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my MLB picks for Sunday will be indicative of that prediction. Pinnacle provides me with the best price pertaining to this total.

MLB Picks: Play on the A’s and Angels under 7.0 (-105) at Pinnacle.

Reds vs. Cubs 8:08 PM ET
Anthony DeScalfani has been a bit vulnerable during his previous three starts, allowing 24 hits in 19 1/3 innings pitched. The Reds are averaging 5.3 runs per game and hitting a very good .277 as a team over their last seven outings. Cincinnati has gone 10-4 over the MLB odds total this year when facing a southpaw starting pitcher like they will be on Sunday.

Jon Lester has been horrible during his last two starts. In those outings he allowed 11 earned runs, gave up 18 hits, and walked 3 in only 9 1/3 innings pitched. Lester has a lofty 5.13 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in nine starts at night this year. The Cubs are averaging 5.1 runs per game and hitting a robust .289 as a team during their last seven contests.

I’ll be leaning toward this game being a high scoring one. After shopping for the best price on this total, I opted to use Heritage for my wager.

MLB Picks: Play on the Reds and Cubs over 8.5 at Heritage.
