New York grabbed a 6-4 victory to open this series Friday night, a result that gave us a winner with our free MLB pick on the 'over.' Let's pick another winner for the middle game of this series Saturday afternoon (1:05 pm ET).

Saturday's Betting Odds
As of early Saturday morning the best price we could find on New York with newly acquired Chris Capuano was the -123 offered at BetOnline, while Toronto and Drew Hutchison were getting +122 at 5Dimes. And most shops were listing the total on today's game at 8.5 runs.

Friday Re-Hash
Toronto jumped out to a 3-0 first-inning lead Friday night, but New York scored twice in the second inning and four more times in the third on its way to a 6-4 victory. The Yanks won as -135 post-time favorites, and the game, to our great delight, went 'over' its total of eight runs during that New York third inning.

The Yanks have now beaten Toronto 17 times in a row at Yankee Stadium.

Saturday's Starters
Capuano (1-1, 4.55) will be making his first start of this season, after 28 relief appearances with Boston. He was then traded to Colorado, but didn't make an appearance with the Rockies.

For the season Capuano has allowed 34 hits in 32 innings, walked 15 and struck out 29.

Capuano made three appearances earlier this year against Toronto, allowing one run and two hits through 3 1/3 innings. Last year Cappy, pitching for the Dodgers, started once against the Blue Jays, allowing five runs in less than five innings of a 10-9 LA victory.

Hutchison is 6/20 on quality starts this year, but 0 for his last three. Last time out he got bombed by Boston for six runs in less than three innings, and over his last three starts he's allowed 15 runs in 13 2/3 innings.

On the season Hutchison has allowed 114 hits in 113 innings, walked 38 and struck out 102. Toronto is 9-11 in Hutchison's starts, with the totals leaning toward the 'unders' by an 11-9 margin.

Hutchison has started three times already this year against New York, allowing 14 runs and 19 hits through 13 2/3 innings; the Jays lost all three of those games.

Free Pick for Saturday
We picked a winner with the 'over' on Friday's game, and we still subscribe to that line of thinking for Saturday. So we'll go with the 'over' 8.5 runs at the -120 offered at Pinnacle for today's free MLB pick.
