Make sure you check this edition of Sports BIT with Pauly and Teddy as they recap yesterday's MLB action as well as another NFL team breakdown with The Steelers.

On Thursday’s SportsBIT, Teddy and Pauly open with another ‘Moose’ in MLB action last night.  Pauly recalled a conversation that he had with longtime Vegas sportsbook director Nick Bogdanovich talking about how the bad beats in baseball seem to be worse than in any other sport.  Texas Rangers bettors would certainly agree with that sentiment today!

The Yankees had lost 124 consecutive games when trailing by four or more runs in the ninth inning.  The Rangers had gone 303-2 over the last eight seasons when leading by four or more in the ninth.  Rangers closer Sam Dyson had converted all sixteen of his save chances since taking over the closer’s role in May.  Every one of those streaks came to an end with the Bronx Bombers six run explosion in the ninth, as Didi Gregorius hit a two run walk-off.  Not only did Yankee bettors cash, they cashed on the Run Line as well, a truly brutal beat.  SportsBIT viewers were warned that the Rangers bullpen was a problem area on yesterday’s show, one more reason why it’s ‘Must See TV’ every single day!

Teddy and Pauly have spent the month of June breaking down one NFL team on almost every show.  Today, that team is the 2016 Pittsburgh Steelers, lined Over/Under 10.5 wins.  The Steelers put up some STRONG offensive numbers last year, finishing #3 in the NFL in total offense and #4 in the NFL in yards per play differential (+0.8 yards on every snap).  There’s little reason to expect a major drop-off in 2016, even with explosive wideout Martavis Bryant out for the year due to a league mandated suspension.

But the Steelers lost a lot more veteran talent from last year’s squad than just Bryant.  Tight End Heath Miller retired.  Left tackle Kelvin Beachum is gone, as are starting safety Will Allen and starting CB Antwon Blake.  Of course, given the Steelers struggles against the pass last year, that secondary really needed a makeover, but make no mistake about it – the Steelers will be relying on a pair of top draft choice rookies in the secondary in 2016.

What about Euro Cup?  Teddy and Pauly close the show with a Play of the Day on the early start match (3 PM Eastern) between Portugal and Poland.  Get their breakdown of Poland – Portugal for betting picks and watch the full show right here, right now.
