Do not pass up on the valuable betting insight this capper shares regarding Wednesday’s NL West battle between the L.A. Dodgers and the Colorado Rockies.

Dodgers and Rockies Series continues on Wednesday at Coors Field
The Rockies and Dodgers square off on Wednesday at Coors Field in Denver, and the first pitch is slated for 8:10 PM ET. According to the MLB betting odds at Bookmaker, the Dodgers are a -145 money line favorite, and the posted total is 10.5. Today will be the thirteenth meeting of the season between these NL West rivals, Los Angeles has won nine of the first twelve, and eight of those games have gone over the total.

Starting Pitchers
The MLB betting odds favored Dodgers' Mike Bolsinger will make his six start of the season on Wednesday. He’s posted an excellent 1.15 ERA in his first five outings. Bolsinger has displayed outstanding form in his most recent three starts, compiling a microscopic 0.90 ERA, and all of those games went under the total.

The Colorado Rockies will send right-hander Chad Bettis to the mound tonight. Bettis is 4-0 in his team starts with a stellar 2.96 ERA. He’s been even better in his previous three starts, posting a 2.02 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, and nearly a 10:1 strikeout to walk ratio.

Team Reports
Tonight will mark the conclusion of a seven game road trip for Los Angeles. They’ve 3-3 thus far, and were 4-2 under the total. The Dodgers have gone a terrific 21-7 at home in 2015. However, they’re a disappointing 10-14 on the road. They’re also 19-8-1 over the total at home, and that’s been in stark contrast of going 14-9-1 under the number on the road. The Dodgers have smashed 73 home runs in their first 52 games, and at this current rate would total 227 homers this season.

The Colorado Rockies have played much better baseball over the past couple of weeks. They’ve gone 8-3 during the last eleven games. During Tuesday’s doubleheader versus Los Angeles, they scored 14 runs, and pounded out 27 hits. It must be noted, Colorado has gone a respectable 14-13 on the road this season, and a poor 9-15 at home.

Final Analysis
Anytime a game is played at Coors Field it’s always prone to being a high scoring affair. However, I’m going to bet against that likelihood continuing tonight. Both starting pitchers enter this game in very good form, and that should help to keep the scoring relatively low. That will be my lean for one of my MLB picks on Wednesday.

MLB Picks: Play on the Dodgers and Rockies to go under the total of 10.5
