Saturday's MLB Picks Are Perfect For Parlay Action

Saturday, April 30, 2016 4:00 PM GMT

For those betting baseball today, time is wasting and you have things to do, so let's get started with a parlay that will take place in day and night time action for you to cash on tomorrow morning.

Mets the Play in First Leg
The New York Mets are ballin', just in the baseball vernacular, winning of seven in row and 10 off 11. The offense is playing like a basketball version of Golden State, averaging 6.2 runs a game and in this stretch and doing some miraculous things.

Case in point was franchise-record 12-run third inning in 13-1 drubbing of San Francisco last night. "Everybody was barreling balls up that inning," catcher Kevin Plawecki said. "It was pretty crazy, really. Just one after the other after the other."

While it might not as crazy today, the opportunities will be their facing the Giants Matt Cain (0-2, 6.43 ERA), who is 0-5 with a 6.64 ERA in 11 starts since getting a win at San Diego on last July 22. The former ace of San Francisco has become a victim of injuries and those six straight seasons of 200+ innings, plus the postseason, must have taken their toll.

All Mets starter Jacob deGrom (2-0, 1.54) needs is a few runs, especially at home. At Citi Field, the New York right-hander has a 1.86 ERA, which is the lowest by any Mets pitcher in history with at least 169 innings under his belt.

After soaring to as high as -200, the MLB odds  are down to -165 on the Metropolitans at BetonLine.

Kansas City Ends Losing Streak in Coffee Town
The World Series champions have not lost five in a row in almost two years in making back to back appearances in the Fall Classic and I'm betting they do not today. Two aspects about Kansas City I like is who they have pitching and who they are facing.

Let's start with Yordano Ventura (2-0, 2.35), who after another lousy spring in Arizona, seems to have grown into the idea of being an ace and accepted the responsibility in a more mature manner. "I have a lot of confidence right now,'' Ventura said. ''I'm executing pitches, I'm concentrating hard on working hard on and off the field.''

Seattle is the kind off opponent Ventura likes to face on two levels. One, the righty and the Royals are 17-5 in road games versus an American League team with a batting average of .265 or worse and is 11-1 against clubs averaging 1.25 or more long balls a game.

Kansas City will face the tossing's of Wade Miley (1-2, 7.04), who is on his third team in three years. Though Miley gave up one run in 13 1/3 innings to win both starts against Kansas City last season when pitching for Boston, in four starts this year he has given up 32 hits in 23 innings (four over the fence) and is not missing bats.

The Mariners are listed as -110 home favorite if you parlay the odds of both World Series participants, a $100 wager pays a nice $221 and change if our MLB Picks are correct.
