Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides an MLB Early Lines Report for the baseball card taking place on Thursday, September 15.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles
Blake Snell has not had a smooth rookie season with the Tampa Bay Rays and has been roughed up particularly on the road of late as he’s yielded 10 runs in his last 7.1 innings pitched on the road and has had a tougher time in hitter-friendly ballparks and this one at Camden Yards certainly fits into that category. Snell has not pitched more than 6 innings in 10 consecutive trips to the mound and that means the Rays mediocre bullpen specifically with their middle relief arms can be expected to throw some innings which could be trouble against this Baltimore lineup which has averaged close to 5 runs per game at home this season.

Yovani Gallardo will get the start for Baltimore and he is no more trustworthy of delivering a good outing on the mound for the Orioles in this game with the aging retread veteran having a rough and injury-plagued season from the onset. He has surrendered 16 runs in his last 12.1 innings and has failed to pitch more than 6 innings in 7 of his last 8 starts meaning that Baltimore’s pen is also expected to see plenty of time in this game.

All three games between the Orioles and Rays at Tropicana Field in their most recent series last week soared Over the total and I expect a similar result here for my MLB pick. Just remember to check the odds board which is updated live with the lines of the best sportsbooks.
