Friday’s game between the Yankees and Orioles has caught our attention as we reviewed the MLB betting odds board. Find out whether we will bet the Money Line, Run Line or Total.

AL East Weekend Series Showdown
The Yankees and Orioles open a three game series on Friday at Camden Yards in Baltimore. According to the opening line at Bookmaker, the Yankees are a -115 money line favorite, and the posted total is 8.0. The Yankees have gone 4-3 versus Baltimore so far in 2015. Since the 2013 season, Baltimore is 15-7 at home against the Yankees. Those 22 meetings have gone 12-7-3 under the total.

Starting Pitchers
Michael Pineda will make the start on Friday in the series opener. Pineda is gaining the reputation as one of the better power pitchers in all of baseball. The Yankees right-hander has just short of an 11:1 strikeout to walk ratio, and a very good 3.37 ERA in eleven starts this season. As matter of fact, in his last start versus the Orioles on 5/10/2015, Pineda struck out 16 and walked none in 7.0 innings. In 6 career starts versus the Orioles, he’s posted a stellar 2.56 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and struck out 50 while walking just 3.

The Orioles Ubaldo Jimenez will make his twelfth start of the 2015 MLB campaign today. He’s posted a sparkling 3.02 ERA during his first 11 starts of the year. However, Jimenez is 1-5 in his team starts versus the Yankees since 2012, posting a lofty 6.16 ERA and 1.76 WHIP during that time. The Orioles hurler is in shaky form over his previous three starts overall, evidenced by a below par 1.61 WHIP in those outings.

Yankees Look to Begin a Another Hot Streak
The Yankees head into tonight after having an off day on Thursday. “The Bronx Bombers” were a 5-4 loser to Washington in eleven innings on Wednesday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. That defeat ended a seven game Yankees winning streak. Their bats have really come alive recently, scoring 5 runs or more in six of the last eight games. They’ve also smashed 76 home runs in their first 59 games, and are on pace to hit 209 homers this season.

Orioles Continue to Roll
Baltimore is coming off a three game home sweep of Boston that was culminated by a 6-5 win on Thursday. The Orioles have now won four in a row, and are 6-1 in their last seven games. Thursday was the first time that they’ve allowed more than three runs in eight games.

Final Analysis
I give the Yankees an advantage in the starting pitching department today. We can’t ignore the fact that the Yankees haven’t played since Wednesday afternoon, and Baltimore was involved in a closely contested affair just last night. I’ll be favoring the road team in this matchup today for one of my MLB picks. After shopping for the MLB odds for the best money line price, I opted to use GTbets.
