It's the first day of July and what better way to start off the month with a bang than with our MLB Player Props that give the betting public the decisive edge when approaching with the insight that we have to offer when providing our betting picks?

Athletics vs. Rockies: More Runs, Hits, and RBI's
Charlie Blackmon -105
Ben Zobrist -125
When you get Charlie Blackmon out of the confines of Coors Field, it's a whole new ball game as he and most of the Rockies lineup excel at home due to the altitude level. Unfortunately for the Rockies, this game will be played in Oakland. With that said, Blackmon has broken the trend and homered in this current series while hitting safely in 9 out of his last 10 games.

Where Zobrist is concerned, his numbers don't come close to Blackmon's powerwise and where batting average is concerned. However, he was 2 for 3 with a double and run in his last game and this is a home game for him. Although Blackmon is considered the better player, we're going to side with the odds and take Zobrist at home.

MLB Pick- Ben Zobrist -125

Yankees vs. Angels: Most Hits, Runs, and RBI's
Kole Calhoun -120
Alex Rodriguez -110
Thus far, the Halos have gotten the best of the Yankees in this low scoring series. Although Alex Rodriguez has hit better this season than anyone could've thought, he's been somewhat quiet as of late.

In his last 4 games, A-Rod is 2 for 14 with just 1 RBI. On the other hand, Calhoun looks mighty tempting as he's hit safely in his last 4 games and is 5 for 16 with 1 double, 1 HR and 4 RBI in this period of time.

Calhoun has actually hit safely in 9 out of his last 10 games. Everything in this props say's to take Calhoun, but I'm siding with Arod as he's due to have a big day and I'm willing to take that chance.

MLB Pick- Alex Rodriguez -110

Brewers vs. Phillies: Will Aramis Ramirez record a Hit?
Yes -250
No -+195
MLB odds makers appear to really think that Ramirez will get a hit as he plays the worst team in the league in the Philadelphia Phillies. Ramirez has hit safely in 5 out of his last 6 games and is 4 for his last 8 at-bats. Although I don't think the odds should be so extreme, Ramirez should get a hit, therefore your answer for this prop is yes.

MLB Pick- Yes -250

Brewers vs. Phillies: Will Cesar Hernandez Record A Hit?
Yes -225
No +185
Hernandez get's a very favorable matchup with Kyle Lohse as Lohse has had a poor season. Surprisingly, Hernandez has hit safely in 8 out of his last 9 games. Not only that, he's had 5 multiple hit games in that period of time and is basically tearing the cover off of the baseball. In his last 4 games, Hernandez is 9 for 16. Add in what I already stated about Lohse and the Brewers not being the toughest of opponents and this prop is a yes.

MLB Pick- -225 at Bovada
