Let's take a look at Saturday night's MLB player props menu and see if anything whets our appetite as we provide you with our daily MLB player prop picks.

Phillies vs. Giants
Will Odubel Herrera Record a Hit? Yes -200... No +160
Not necessarily a household name, Herrera has been putting the baseball in play and getting on base lately. Tonight, he and the bottom-feeding Philadelphia Phillies face the defending World Champion San Francisco Giants.

In his last 9 games, Herrera has recorded a hit on 8 separate occasions. He's been flying under the radar, going 12 for 33 with 2 HR and 6 RBI in that period of time. Of course, Herrera has to calm down sometime, but the odds are quite appealing for his production rate. Yes is the play, but make it a small pay.

MLB Pick- Yes -200

Angels vs. Mariners
Total Strikeouts For C.J. WIlson
Over 5.5 -130
Under 5.5 -EV

I'm not a huge C.J. WIlson fan, but he gets a good spot here as he has won 4 out of his last 5 games and is playing a Seattle Mariners club that's simply underperformed this season.

Robbie Cano is suffering from acid reflux issues and his level of productivity has dropped off in a major way. Simply stated, Cano said he was out of energy due to the issue and I totally understand as I suffer from it.

Nelson Cruz has been a one man wrecking crew, but I don't think that it will be enough to stop Mike Trout or C.J.Wilson. With all of that said, Wilson has been pitching well, but averaging way below the prop average of 5.5 strikeouts. I would fade the trends, but this is a pitcher that I have little faith in. Make the under your choice.

MLB Pick- Under 5.5 - EV

Total Strikeouts For Hisashi Iwakuma
Over 3 -140
Under 3 +110

That's a very low prop total and Iwakuma will face the likes of Trout, Pujols, and Calhoun. Whether it be a push or an over, Iwakuma has had 3 strikeouts or more in his last 5 games. Odds makers might be thinking that the Angels will make a bit more contact than other teams. This is actually not true as Mike Trout strikes out often. Take the over. The worst case scenario is a push.

MLB Pick- Over 3 -140

Nationals vs. Orioles
Will Yunel Escobar Record a Hit? Yes -300... No +240
Lot's of juice to lay if you're going to choose the under in this prop as Escobar has hit safely in 4 out of his last 5 games. I understand the MLB odds being in his favor, but this is extreme.

The only way to bet this prop is to fade the massive favoring yes option. The yes isn't "money in the bank" as Escobar faces an Orioles team with a good starter in Gonzalez and they need to win to stay near the top of the American League East Division. Make it a small play, cross your fingers, and take the "no" option. Yunel Escobar is quite capable of going hitless.

MLB Pick- No +240 at Bovada
