A great way to supplement your betting income is with some added player props. When being selective, I find some really appealing props concerning a player's in-game performance each and every night. Let's take a look at the later West Coast games and see if we can find some hidden gems that would provide a substantial profit.

Total Hits, Runs, and Runs Batted In For Adrian Gonzalez
Over 2.5 - Even
Under 2.5 -130
Gonzo has had a spectacular season as he came flying out of the gate like American Pharoah at the beginning of the season, but has since simmered down. His numbers are still top rate at 11 HR, 39 RBI, and a .324 BA. However, in his last 4 games, he's just 1 for 12. MLB odds makers think that he will go below the 2.5 mark and I happen to agree as he's been hitting poorly lately. This prop is fairly simple. Take the under and lay the juice with your MLB picks.

MLB Pick- Under 2.5 -130

Total Hits, Runs, and RBI's For Paul Goldschmidt
Over 2.5 - EV
Under 2.5 -130
Goldschmidt is another player in the same situation as Gonzalez and with the same odds. He has carried his club all season long and has to be one of the leading candidates for the NL MVP Award even though it's still very early in the season.

For the season, Goldy has is at 16 HR, 47 RBI, and a .338 BA. His OBP% is an amazing .463 because opposing pitchers are afraid to pitch to him. Where he's concerned, walks could be involved, but he hasn't been hitting well lately either. In his last 4 games, he's 2 for 12 with 1 RBI. I'm going to fade the obvious and take the over. Look for Goldy to produce tonight on a hot summer night where the ball carries.

MLB Pick- Over 2.5 -EV

Total Hits, Runs, and RBI's For Jose Abreu
Over 2.5 +130

Under 2.5 -160
I definitely don't understand the odds here as Abreu has eclipsed the 2.5 mark in each of his last 3 games. Last night, he went deep for his 10th home run of the season. A bettor could say that he's due to have a poor game, but I'll stick with the overs that have been hitting for this young superstar.

MLB Pick- Over 2.5 +130

Most Hits, Runs, and RBI's
Billy Burns -125

Delino DeShields -105
I love this comparison prop between two competitiors. Lately, Burns has been picking up an average of a hit per night, but he's capable of hitting a triple and scoring a run. Burns has two triples in his last 7 games.

Where DeShields is concerned, he's coming off of a game in which he hit a triple, scored a run, and had a walk. The only thing that bothers me where DeShields is concerned is that he's more apt to have a game with no production. Burns is the play as the odds indicate.

MLB Pick- Billy Burns -125

Total Strikeouts For Jessie Hahn
Over 4.5 -140
Over 4.5 +110
This is a crapshoot. In Hahn's last 4 out of 5 games, he's had 5 k's or more. However in 3 of those games, he had 5 punch outs. Consistency matters and even though I'm not thrilled with the odds, the over is the obvious play.

MLB Pick- Over 4.5 -140 at Bovada
