Our handicapping professional shares his two best money line underdog betting values on Thursday's card. Go inside to read this revealing article, and discover why he likes these MLB picks.

Rangers (Griffin) vs Orioles (Miley) 7:05 PM ET
Wade Miley will make his Orioles debut after coming over in trade from Seattle. Miley made three starts against Texas this season while with the Mariners. Unfortunately, he struggled mightily in those outings, and that's further evidenced by his 7.41 ERA.

A.J. Griffin is scheduled to be on the mound today for Texas. Griffin is 7-1 in his team starts at night this year, compiling a very respectable 3.60 ERA, and 1.13 WHIP during that period of time. Griffin is also an extremely profitable 26-9 in his career team starts when pitching in the season's second half. The maligned Rangers bullpen has been superb of late, and their 0.93 WHIP as a staff is indicative of such.

Current MLB odds featured at IslandCasino has Texas as a +118 money line underdog. Texas is a terrific 41-21 in 2016 when +125 to -125 on the money line.

Red Sox (Pomeranz) vs Mariners (Miranda) 10:10 PM ET
Boston is entrenched in a funk of late, going 4-9 over their last thirteen games. What's really been puzzling of late is how Red Sox bats have gone silent. Through its last seven games, Boston is averaging only 3.0 runs scored per outing and possesses an awful .624 team OPS.

Drew Pomeranz will make his fourth start for Boston since coming over in a July trade from San Diego. Early returns haven't been good for the southpaw hurler. Pomeranz has posted an uninspiring 7.54 ERA and 1.68 WHIP through his first three starts in a Red Sox uniform.

Newly acquired Ariel Miranda will make his first ever MLB start this evening for Seattle. The 27-year-old Cuban-born pitcher came in a recent trade with Baltimore for veteran left-hander Wade Miley. Miranda made 19 starts at Baltimore's AAA affiliate in Norfolk and had a 3.93 ERA.

Seattle has gone a perfect 9-0 this season as a money line home underdog of +100 or greater, and won those contests by an average of 3.0 runs per game. I like that trend to continue and one of my Thursday MLB picks will reflect that sentiment.
