Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides his MLB Early Lines Report for the baseball card taking place on Friday, August 26.

Seattle Mariners vs. Chicago White Sox
The Seattle Mariners and Felix Hernandez are underdogs in this matchup against the Chicago White Sox and it’s easy to argue they don’t deserve that tag. Chicago has been playing bad baseball for an extended period of time now. Seattle is the better team and their starter Felix Hernandez has been every bit as good recently as Chris Sale for the White Sox who is the one and only reason why the inferior White Sox are favored in this game.

Chicago is just 2-5 in Sale’s last 7 starts even though he has pitched well enough to win in a majority of those games. Thanks to a very light hitting lineup and a subpar bullpen, the White Sox have squandered many decent outings from their ace lefty and it wouldn’t surprise me to see that occur once again here. Felix Hernandez has allowed just 5 earned runs in his last 21.2 innings of work over his last three starts and the Mariners are 4-0 in his last 4 trips to the mound. That is a track record worthy of support to back the better team at a nice plus price for your MLB pick.
