We browse the early odds board in search of MLB betting value on Sunday's card and offer two picks to maximize your profits at the end of the regular season.

Astros vs. Red Sox

Right-hander Collin McHugh (4-2, 3.45 ERA, 1.33 WHIP) takes the hill for the Astros, looking to win his third straight start. McHugh gave up two earned runs on seven hits (one home run) with three walks and six strikeouts in five innings of an 11-2 win against the Rangers last Monday but he has a 5.05 ERA in seven road starts and the current Red Sox lineup is hitting .421 against him, with Mookie Betts going 6-for-8 with four RBI.

Chris Sale (17-8, 2.90 ERA, 0.97 WHIP) starts for the Red Sox, trying to make a final push for the Cy Young award. Sale struggled against the Blue Jays on Tuesday though, allowing five earned runs on eight hits (four home runs) with two walks and eight strikeouts in five innings of a 9-4 setback but he does have a decent 7-3 record with a 3.16 ERA in 13 home starts. I'm looking at the Red Sox at MLB odds to be determined, as Sale gets back on track before the postseason starts.

Tigers vs. Twins

Anibal Sanchez (3-6, 6.46 ERA, 1.58 WHIP) will start for the Tigers after losing his last five decisions (two in a row). Sanchez did pitch well against the Royals last Tuesday, giving up just two earned runs on seven hits with one walk and six strikeouts in six innings of a 2-1 setback but he has a poor 7.43 ERA in 14 road appearances (eight starts).

Bartolo Colon (6-14, 6.72 ERA, 1.63 WHIP) will make what could be the last regular season start of his career. The right-hander exited Tuesday's game against the Indians after one inning due to an undisclosed illness. He allowed two earned runs on three hits with no walks and one strikeout and he's winless since August 25. There's a reason why Sanchez is winless since August 1 and Colon has lost his last four decisions, so I'm going Over 9.5 (-115) with my MLB picks
