We browse the early odds board in search of MLB betting value on Sunday's card. Read on and find two selections that will maximize your profits at the end of the week.

Angels vs. Orioles

Right-hander Parker Bridwell (7-1, 2.88 ERA, 1.17 WHIP) takes the hill for the Angels, looking to win his sixth consecutive decision. Bridwell dominated the Mariners on Sunday, giving up just one earned run on four hits with one walk and two strikeouts over six innings of a 4-2 win. He's 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA over his last two starts and 4-0 with a 1.74 ERA in five road starts.

Wade Miley (6-10, 5.21 ERA, 1.69 WHIP) will get the ball for the Orioles after a poor effort against the Mariners on Tuesday, when he allowed three earned runs on five  hits with three walks and four strikeouts over just 4 2/3 innings of a 3-1 loss. Miley leads the American League with 72 walks and he's just 2-4 with a 4.94 ERA in 11 home starts. I'm taking Bridwell and the Angels at MLB odds to be determined here.

Nationals vs. Padres

Gio Gonzalez (11-5, 2.49 ERA, 1.13 WHIP) will start for the Nationals, as he tries to win his fourth straight start. Gonzalez tossed six scoreless innings against the Angels last Tuesday, surrendering two hits with three walks and four strikeouts. The left-hander has been excellent lately, giving up just three earned runs over 28 innings in his last four starts, which lowered his ERA to a 2.49 (third in the National League) and he has quality starts in nine of his last 10 appearances.

Dinelson Lamet (7-4, 4.78 ERA, 1.14 WHIP) will make his 15th start for the Padres, trying to win his fourth consecutive decision. Lamet allowed just two earned runs on three hits (one home run) with one walk and seven strikeouts in seven innings of an 8-4 win against the Phillies last Tuesday but he's just 1-1 with a 5.56 ERA in four day starts. I like the Nationals -106 for my MLB picks, as Gonzalez continues his excellent season in a favorable matchup.
