We browse the early odds board in search of MLB betting value on Saturday's card. Read on and find two picks that will maximize your profits before UFC 215.

Phillies vs. Nationals

Right-hander Mark Leiter Jr. (2-5, 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) takes the hill for the Phillies, trying to avoid his third straight loss. Leiter Jr. struggled against the Mets on Monday, giving up nine runs (eight earned) on nine hits (two home runs) with no walks and two strikeouts in just 3 1/3 innings of an 11-7 loss and he's just 1-3 with a 7.53 ERA in 14 road appearances (four starts).

Edwin Jackson (5-4, 3.62 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) starts for the Nationals looking to get back on track after losing against the Brewers on Sunday, when he allowed five runs (four earned) on five hits (two home runs) with one walk and five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. Jackson has been solid at home though, going 3-1 with a 3.04 ERA in five appearances (four starts). I'm taking the Nationals at -169 MLB odds here.

Rays vs. Red Sox

Matt Andriese (5-2, 3.78 ERA, 1.29 WHIP) will start for the Rays after giving up five earned runs on six hits (two home runs) with one walk and five strikeouts over five innings of a 6-2 loss against the White Sox on Sunday. Andriese has a 4.23 ERA with one save in six road appearances (five starts).

Chris Sale (15-7, 2.85 ERA, 0.94 WHIP) will make his 29th start for the Red Sox. He has lost three of his last four outings, including last Sunday's game against the Yankees, when he allowed three earned runs on seven hits (three home runs) with two walks and six strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings of work. Sale is 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA in four starts against the Rays and he's 6-2 with a 3.03 ERA in 11 home starts, which should help him bounce back. I'm adding the Red Sox on the runline to my MLB picks.
