When playing the baseball run total odds, there are several things which experienced handicappers will note first and foremost. Find out which data has jumped out to us today as we share our top totals.

Astros (Keuchel) vs. Indians (Carrasco) 7:10 PM ET
Dallas Keuchel has been terrific for the Astros this season, posting a superb 2.03 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in seventeen starts. Keuchel has allowed no earned runs on 13 hits while striking out 13 and walking only 1 in his last two starts. The Astros southpaw has dominated the Indians in three career starts since 2012, compiling a microscopic 0.78 ERA in those outings.

You can’t get any closer to tossing a no-hitter than Carlos Carrasco did in his last start. Carrasco was one out and one strike away from the monumental feat before it was spoiled by a Tampa Bay base hit. Carrasco has been lights out in three career starts since 2014 versus Houston, posting a miniscule 0.42 ERA, and compiling a better than 7:1 strikeout to walk ratio. The Indians are hitting just .228 as a team over their last seven games.

These teams have seen all three of their encounters go under the total this season. As a matter of fact, they’ve gone 14-2-1 under the total in their seventeen games played against one another since 2013. I like this to be a low scoring game, and one of my MLB picks today will reflect that prediction.

MLB Picks: Play on the Indians and Astros under 7.0

Orioles (Chen) vs. Twins (Hughes) 8:10 PM ET
Wei-Yin Chen has displayed terrific form over his previous three starts, posting a 1.64 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and all three of those games stayed under the total. Chen has compiled a stellar 2.84 ERA in fourteen starts this season, and has gone a remarkable 10-0-1 under the total in his last eleven outings. The Orioles have gone 4-1 under the total in their previous five, and allowed a paltry 1.8 runs per game during that time. They’ve also hit a miserable .206 as a team during their last seven games.

Phillip Hughes is in excellent form over his last three starts with a 1.59 ERA and 0.71 WHIP. The Twins are 4-0-1 under the total in their last five, and there’s been a combined average of just 4.6 runs per game scored.

This has all the earmarks of a low scoring affair. Pinnacle provides us with the best price pertaining to making a wager on going under the total.

MLB Picks: Play on the Orioles and Twins under 8.0 (+102)
