With a complete slate of games on Momday, we bring to you the MLB Picks of the Day as there's some good matchups out there in which he can find a decisive edge.

Seattle Mariners (3-3) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (3-3)
Amazingly enough, other than the Atlanta Braves, who are at 5-1, every other team in the majors has at least 2 losses to their credit and the one team that I didn't expect that from are the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers have possibly the best 2 pitchers in the league in Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke. L.A. will look to carry over the momentum from yesterday's 7-4 victory in which they banged out 16 hits and Greinke pitched 7 scoreless innings.

Gonzo
The biggest story thus far this season has been the hitting of Adrian Gonzalez. Gonzalez has gotten off to a blazing start, hitting .609 with 5 HR and 7 RBI in 23 at-bats. Opposing pitchers are going to look to pitch around Gonzalez as Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez are no longer with the ball club.

The Dodgers will rely on speed in the form of Dee Gordon and Jimmy Rollins and the power of Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, who both hit their 1st home runs of the season yesterday, Gonzalez, and the overall experience of Howie Kendrick as he switches from the Angels to the Dodgers,

The Dodgers also get another boost as Brandon McCarthy gets the start and he's been an excpetional pitcher ever since he pitched with the New York Yankees.

"Crusing Along"
The Mariners are coming off of 2 big wins against Oakland in which they produced 13 runs. While Robinson Cano has been silent thus far (1 RBI, .120), Nelson Cruz has made a splash with his new team. Cruz has 2 HR and 4 RBI and even though he play's in a pitcher's park, his home run total will increase dramatically during the season.

Right now, teams are still starting to get a feel for the new season and it will take time for some hitters like Cano to get on track. Even though Seattle has been pounding out the hits and runs the last 2 games, I like L.A. as home favorite in MLB odds and with McCarthy as the starting pitcher in this matchup.

MLB Pick: Los Angeles -120 at The Greek

Cincinnnati Reds (4-2) vs. Chicago Cubs (3-2): Redemption Time
Jon Lester (0-1, 6.23) was a huge free agency signing in the off-season and although the Reds have played rather well, those games were at home and they've lost their last 2 games. Cincinnati doesn't have an imposing lineup. If Lester can keep Billy Hamilton off the basepaths and Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, and Todd Frazier inside the ballpark, he should have a chance to redeem himself after a poor 1st start to the season.

Votto and Frazier have both gotten off to fast starts to the season as they're both hitting .292 or better and each have 3 HR and 8 RBI apiece. Hamilton has also managed to get on base (.357 OBP%) and has 7 steals. This game comes down to Lester and his transition from a much tougher American League to the National League. For your  MLB picks tonight, look for a bounce back performance from Lester as the Cubbies win their 3rd straight game of the season and are off to a fast start.
