The everyday grind of the baseball season can take its toll, so let us help out with another daily look into the available sports betting odds along with the top picks from our resident handicappers. Is there value out there to exploit tonight?

Colorado Rockies (Matzek) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Ryu)
Covered by Willie Bee and Matthew Jordan
The Rockies are on quite a roll right now, having won five straight games to move to within one game of a .500 record overall. They'll take on a Dodgers team that's three games over .500 despite a horrible 15-20 mark at home this season.

Tyler Matzek, who dazzled in his debut five days ago, will be going for a repeat performance for Colorado, while Los Angeles turns to Hyun-Jin Ryu. Willie is on the OVER, while Matthew has opted for the Dodgers on the run-line as well as the UNDER. What play do you trust most?

MLB Pick: Willie: OVER 7 // Matthew: Dodgers -1.5 (+125) and UNDER 7

New York Mets (deGrom) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (Martinez)
Covered by Willie Bee and Jeff Grant
Whereas the Mets have gone 3-7 over their previous 10 games, the Cardinals have been going the opposite way, winning three in a row and going 7-3 in their past 10. St. Louis, 19-14 at home in 2014, will be favored in the MLB odds for tonight.

Carlos Martinez will make a rare start for the home team, while Jacob deGrom (0-3, 3.44 ERA) starts for the visitors. Though the Mets haven't exactly been playing well lately, both Willie and Jeff like the posted value on them in this spot and will be adding the underdogs to their tickets.

MLB Pick: Willie: Mets +140 // Jeff: Mets +140

Texas Rangers (Lewis) vs. Oakland Athletics (Pomeranz)
Covered by Ron Patrick
There's no doubt the Athletics got more than they bargained for with Drew Pomeranz, who's been sensational for the team so far this season. He's 5-3 with a 1.90 ERA and has quickly become an integral part of the rotation.

It's no wonder Oakland is such a heavy favorite tonight, as Texas will have the struggling Colby Lewis (4-4, 5.74 ERA) on the bump. Ron really likes the Athletics and will take a chance on them on the run-line for this divisional battle.

MLB Pick: Athletics -1.5 (+126)

Baltimore Orioles (Chen) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (Odorizzi)
Covered by Jeff Grant
It's a tough time to be a Rays fan right now. They have the MLB's worst record at 27-43 and find themselves a whopping 13.5 games behind first place in the AL East. Considering they were considered a contender before the season started, it's been a hugely disappointing season thus far. Luckily for Tampa Bay there's still a lot of baseball left to be played.

Jake Odorizzi (2-7, 4.85 ERA) will be hoping to lead his team to a second straight win, with Wei-Yin Chen (7-2, 3.76 ERA) on the bump for Baltimore. Jeff is forecasting a pitchers' duel in this series opener and is therefore recommending the UNDER with his sports picks.

MLB Pick: UNDER 7.5

Philadelphia Phillies (Hamels) vs. Atlanta Braves (Teheran)
Covered by Jeff Grant
And here we have the best pitching duel of the night and it features Julio Teheran (6-4, 2.41 ERA) and Cole Hamels (2-3, 3.07 ERA). Right now the top sportsbooks have Atlanta favored at right around -135, with Philadelphia available for backing at +125.

The Braves closed out their series against the Angels with a win last night, improving their record at Turner Field to 20-15 in the process. Will they figure out Cole Hamels this evening? Jeff say yes, as he's siding with Atlanta as the home favorites.

MLB Pick: Braves -135
