We swung and missed with our lone prop betting pick for Sunday Night Baseball. However, if any of you have followed me through this MLB season and our NBA handicapping, you’ll no I’m no team props guy. I love the player props, and I have pair tonight that hold a ton of value.

Season MLB Props Record: 14-15 (-2.30 units)

Elvis Andrus O/U 2½ Runs, Hits & RBIs

My go-to sportsbook for props is too scared to give me odds on my guy Elvis Andrus, but our friends at BetOnline are more than happy to oblige. Andrus is going up against Orioles right-hander Chris Tillman tonight out of the second spot and hitting up in the lineup against a poor pitching staff should get us a winning ticket on the 'over.'

Andrus has 19 runs, hits and RBIs already this month through just 38 at bats because of the All-Star Break. However, that equates to one of those in every other at-bat this month. Combined against the pitching of the O’s, and you have a prime spot for Andrus tonight.

Most of the Rangers have a pretty good shot at having a prime day at the plate tonight, but Andrus is always a guy who is going to get a hit or two. Whether one of those is a homer, or if he can get on base and score is another story, but for Andrus I think we can count on at least one hit tonight, if not more.

That makes this a little easier, especially with MLB odds of +110 from BetOnline. That’s where I’m going with my first prop pick of the evening. Tillman has not started since June 30, and he has been atrocious this season.

Kris Bryant O/U 2½ Runs, Hits & RBIs

If the Cubs are truly turning things around out of the gate in the second half, then we may be buying low for this prop. However, after the two days he has had at the plate, I am riding the Bryant train to the bank tonight.

Bryant is 6-for-9 in his last two games, with a homer, 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. If he is getting on base, this should once again be an 'over' play tonight. Sure, the juice of -110 is a little off-putting compared to the payout of the 'over' on some of these other bets. The books have probably gotten burned two straight nights, so they are just covering their asses.

However, do you see Atlanta's Julio Tehran being able to slow down Bryant? They guy is hitting .357 in the month of July and since coming back from the All Star Break, he went 0-for-5 and now he’s had two multi-hit games. Buy a ticket on the train and let’s see if he can do it a third straight night.
