Our MLB capper breaks down his two top totals picks on Tuesday’s card. Go inside to read this betting preview highlighting totals for the Twins vs. Indians & Royals vs. White Sox.

Twins (Gibson) vs. Indians (Anderson) 7:10 PM ET
Right-hander Kyle Gibson has made three starts against Cleveland since 8/19/2014, and each of those games went over the total. Gibson was certainly a major contributor to those high scoring affairs, posting a mammoth 14.72 ERA, allowing 22 hits, and surrendering 5 home runs in just 11.0 innings pitched. The Twins have seen six of seven games played at Cleveland this season go over the total.

Cody Anderson has made two career starts against Minnesota and both came in 2015. During those outings, Anderson compiled a hefty 6.75 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, and both games went over the total. The Indians are 32-15 (68.1%) over the total at home this season when facing a right-handed starting pitcher.

Needless to say, I like this game to produce plenty of runs. One of my MLB picks on Monday will be reflective of that prediction. According to current MLB betting odds at 5Dimes, they provide me with a favorable betting option.

MLB Pick: Play on the Twins & Indians over 8.0 (+105) at 5Dimes

Royals (Cueto) vs. White Sox (Samardzija) 8:10 PM ET
Johnny Cueto has been a major disappointment since coming over in a trade from Cincinnati. As a matter of fact, Cueto has seen each of his previous eight starts go over the total, and he had an awful 7.36 ERA during that stretch. Cueto has faced the White Sox twice this season, had a terrible 7.15 ERA in those outings, and both games went over the total.

Jeff Samardzija has seen each of his last six starts at home go over the total, and he posted a monster 11.08 ERA during that span. The White Sox hurler is 0-3 in his team starts against Kansas City this season, and had a miserable 8.15 ERA during those outings.

Neither one of these teams is exactly tearing the cover off the ball in recent games. However, due to the ineptitude of Tuesday’s starting pitchers, I like this game to be a high scoring affair.

MLB Pick: Play the Royals & White Sox over 7.5 (-115) at Bovada
