Our MLB capper shares his 2 top playoff totals on Monday’s 4 game card. Don’t make a move on either the Blue Jays vs. Rangers or Dodgers vs. Mets games without first reading this betting preview.

Blue Jays vs. Rangers 4:07 PM ET
Derek Holland has been prone to allowing home runs in 2015, surrendering 11 of them in just 58 2/3 innings of work. As a matter of fact, he allowed 3 home runs in 6.0 innings pitched during his only start versus Toronto this season. He’ll have his hands full today against a Blue Jays lineup that leads all of baseball in home runs hit. Holland has also displayed terrible form during his previous three starts, posting a mammoth 5.05 ERA during that stretch, and allowed 5 home runs in only 15 2/3 innings pitched.

R.A. Dickey has been in good form of late, but due to the knuckleball being the main pitch in his arsenal, he’s always in danger of having an erratic outing. This will be his first start against Texas this season. Dickey made two starts last year versus the Rangers, and had a lofty 5.40 ERA. Toronto has gone 11-3 over the number on the road in 2015 when MLB betting odds show a total of 9.0 or 9.5.

I like this game to produce plenty of runs, and one of my MLB picks today will be reflective of that prediction.

MLB Pick: Play Toronto & Texas over 9.5 (-103) at Pinnacle

Dodgers (Anderson) vs. Mets (Harvey) 8:30 PM ET
Brett Anderson has displayed terrible form over his last three starts, posting a large 7.16 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in those outings.

The Mets have faced Max Scherzer, Clayton Kershaw, and Zach Greinke in three of their last four games. Anybody else at this juncture will just seem like a minor league pitcher. Matt Harvey has gone 12-5 over the total this season against National League teams averaging 4.3 runs or less scored per game. By the way, the Dodgers average just 4.1 runs scored per outing in 2015.

Any team (Mets) with a total of 7.0 or less that’s playing in October, and has a .250 or less team batting average during their previous twenty games, resulted in that team having gone 82-52 (61.2%) over the total since 1997

MLB Pick: Play the Dodgers & Mets over 6.5 (-125) at Bovada
