We normally provide you with the MLB Player Props, but for today, we're going to switch off to the MLB Series Props picks, as variety is the spice of life.

NY Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels
Even though a team can lose the first game and then bounce back with a couple of wins, I don't think that's going to happen here. In game one, I think it comes down to who has the better offense and better bullpen and C.C.Sabathia and C.J. Wilson have both been struggling mightily. I picked the Yankees as an underdog in my other article, therefore you know where I'm going with this.

The Yankees offense has been explosive and C.J. Wilson is coming off of a game in which he allowed 7 runs and 8 hits in 3 1/3 innings in a loss to Houston .How can any bettor have confidence with Wilson pitching to the American League RBI leader in Mark Teixieira. How can anyone have confidence in Wison pitching to the combination of speed, power, and leadership in Brett Gardner?

Atrocious Angels Pitching
I look at the next two games between these two teams and a Nova vs. Heaney matchup favors the Yankees also as Ivan Nova finally came back from injury and pitched and outstanding performance.

Where I think the Angels have the edge is the pitched game with Andrew Warren vs. Matt Shoemaker. Warren has been very solid for the Yanks and Shoemaker surprisingly is just 4-6 with a 5.03 ERA this season. That said., Shoemaker pitched well in his last game despite a loss and you can never leave out the face of the MLB in Mike Trout. Trout can change the complexion of any series with a couple of at-bats. I'm thinking with the poor pitching that the Angels are sending out, they're lucky to pick up a single win. If the Yankees win game 1, this series is a wrap.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Shocking Odds
If this was last season, the Brewers would be near a -160 favorite even on the road, but they're not the same team. What I don't understand is how Philadelphia could be a favorite against any team? I already covered this game and Mikael Brown and Ben Revere are the only thing positive going for Philly right now. At least Milwaukee has a group of hitters that can take over a game in Braun, Ramirez, Lind, and even Lucroy.

Cole Hamels is the key in game two. He's 5-6 with a 3.26 ERA due to lack of run support from the Philadelphia offense. He also hasn't won a game in 4 starts. He's due to win a game.

My gut is telling me that Milwaukee wins tonight, Philly wins with Hamels and Wednesday and Thursday are the deciding game with Kyle Lohse and Aaron Harang on Wednesday and Matt Garza on Thursday. At 4-10 with a 5.52, Garza better get his act together or we could see a split.. To me, this a push, but I'm still going to side with the Milwaukee offense despite being ineffective and on the road. Take the Brew Crew on the MLB stomping mat in the FightinG Phils.

Please Note: The Wager is officially on the first 3 games of the series, therefore that leaves Garza out, making Milwaukee even more appealing in this bet.

Kansas City Royals vs. Houston Astros
When Will Someone Knock K.C. Off of the Their Perch?
The last year and a half, the Royals have went from the outhouse to the penthouse and although they're a much improved squad, I don't see why they are so vastly improved. Houston has also went from a bottom-feeder to being a powerhouse. I'm going to leave numbers out of this game as I saw Houston trailing the Yankees 6-0 and in the blink of and eye, it was a tie game. Even Jose Altuve was going yard. The Astros have so many options on offense whether it be Springer, Altuve, Carter, and the power-hitting Evan Gattis. It's easy to see why the Astros are division leaders and 44-34 on the season.

Where the pitching is concerned, the Astros have Dallas Keuchel pitching in game 2 and Lance McCullers in game 1. The Royals appear to have a slight edge with Edison Volquez in game 3, but the Astros are at home and have the edge in this series as the odds indicate. The Royals have been brilliant, but home-field advantage, the power hitting of Houston ,and Dallas Keuchel in game 2 make me lean in the Astros direction.
