A great way of making a profit when betting baseball is with player prop bets. Four matchups stand out most to us: Giants vs. Nationals, Angels vs. Rangers, Mets vs. Dodgers & Rockies vs. D'backs.
Will Bryce Harper Record an RBI?
Yes +105...No -145
As good as a player that Harper is, he has 60 RBI in 81 games. That would average out to less than an RBI per game. For any player to have an RBI per game, they would have to collect 162 RBI's during the season and that's close to impossible. That said, if anyone could do it, it would be Harper as he's the best player in the game and is coming off of a home run in yesterday's game against San Francisco. We're going to have to go against Bryce on this prop. Mathematically, no is the right play.

Total Strikeouts For Jordan Zimmerman
Over 4.5 -155...Under 4.5 +155
If you're talking about overall pitching performance, Zimmerman has been a beast, not allowing a single run in his last 2 starts. I'm quite sure that his adrenaline will be running high as he's pitching against the defending World Champions on national television. Where strikeouts are concerned, Zimmerman is quite inconsistent, but is coming off of one of his better performances with 6 strikeouts. Although he's been pitching fantastic, you need to take the under as he hasn't proven to be a consistent pitcher where mowing down the opposition is concerned.
MLB Prop Pick- Under 4.5 -155
Will Adrian Beltre Record a Hit?
Yes -265...No +185
The MLB Odds are pretty steep for this possible back door hall of famer, who is one of the most underrated players in baseball history. In his last 3 games, Beltre is just 1 for 11 and hitless in 2 out of these 3 games. I'm a bit surprised where the odds are concerned. I'm inclined to place a small bet in hopes that his mini-slump continues.
MLB Prop Pick: No +185
Total Hits, Runs, and RBI's For Paul Goldschmidt
Over 2.5 -105...Under 2.5 +135
Goldschmidt is one of the best players in baseball and it's unfortunate for him that he's not playing on a better team. Other teammates come into play where this prop is concerned. Goldy is coming off of an 0 for 4 performance against Colorado, but has hit safely in 7 out of his last 10 games, Currently, he's not on a real hot streak with any display of major power. I'm going to have to go with the under, even against a weak defense such as the one that that the Rockies possess.

Will Howie Kendrick Record A Hit?
Yes -280...No +195
I'm leaning towards the no option even though Kendrick is a near .300 clutch performer. There's a lot of hype behind the name Steven Matz as he faces the Dodgers. The only thing that worries me is the bullpen involvement of the Mets. The yes option has too much juice to lay. Take the no option in a small bet.
