We are analyzing a lot of games today, so let's get right to it and start examining the betting odds on offer before placing our MLB picks.

Check in one last time before making your final MLB picks of the day.

Angels (Williams) vs. Rangers (Perez)

Covered by Willie Bee

The Angels look to avoid a sweep tonight when they take on the Rangers, who have won each of the first two games of the series in walkoff fashion. As if things could get any worse for L.A., they've found out the hard way in Arlington.

After hitting last night's money-line play on Texas, Willie has settled on the OVER 10.5 runs as the best course of action for tonight.

Cardinals (Wainwright) vs. Pirates (Locke)

Covered by Willie Bee

Willie has had a lot of faith in St. Louis so far in this series, but their bats continue to let them down in a big way and they've now lost hold of the number one spot in the division. At least the Cardinals will be able to call on their ace to get them back on track.

We've got a tremendous pitching duel on our hands today with Wainwright and Jeff Locke going at it. Willie is going with another total play, this time on the UNDER 7 runs.

Reds (Bailey) vs. Padres (Stults)

Covered by Ron Patrick

The Reds really aren't doing themselves any favors right now. They've lost five straight and are six games behind the Pirates in the divisional race. In short, they desperately need a victory in San Diego this afternoon.

Check back and visit our MLB page a little later to see which way Ron goes with his MLB picks.

Rockies (Chatwood) vs. Braves (Minor)

Covered by Joe Freda

Runs have been aplenty in this series so far, but that could very well change tonight when Mike Minor (10-5, 2.89 ERA) and Tyler Chatwood (7-3, 2.48 ERA) take the bump. Take note that Chatwood has gone 3-2 with a 1.23 ERA in six road starts this season.

Meanwhile, each of Minor's last two assignments have fallen under the posted total at the sportsbooks, and Joe believes we'll see the same thing happen tonight. He's backing the UNDER 7.5.

Giants (Gaudin) vs. Phillies (Kendrick)

Covered by Ron Patrick

A solid start out of John Lannan helped the Phillies to a much-needed win and Kyle Kendrick will try to give the hosts their first winning streak in quite some time.

It could be tough goings against Chad Gaudin, who despite a rough last outing has looked very good since joining San Francisco's rotation. Ron has decided to take the better price here and back the Giants at +110.

Mariners (Iwakuma) vs. Red Sox (Lackey)

Covered by Swingin' Johnson

Boston got after Joe Saunders early and often last night, guiding them to a win which keeps them right on the heels of Tampa Bay in the AL East. John Lackey and Hisashi Iwakuma, both of whom have been very reliable, take the mound tonight.

Swingin' Johnson opted to take the Red Sox on the money-line (-170) yesterday and he's doing the same in this MLB betting spot. Boston is trading at about -150 in the MLB odds at time of this writing.

Royals (Guthrie) vs. Twins (Correia)

Covered by Joe Freda

The Royals are tearing it up, having won seven games in a row to put themselves back in the conversation. They've still got a lot of making up to do, but things are looking up right now.

That being said, Kansas City's hot play isn't enough to deter Joe from a play on the host Twins tonight. He thinks Minnesota will be able to get some runs on Jeremy Guthrie, leading to a cashed ticket for those that will back the small home chalk.

*Morning Report*

Angels (Williams) vs. Rangers (Perez)

Covered by Willie Bee

The Rangers have won both games in walkoff fashion and tonight they'll be favored in the -145 price-range over the down-on-their-luck Angels.

Cardinals (Wainwright) vs. Pirates (Locke)

Covered by Willie Bee

After sweeping the double-header yesterday, the Pirates are now in first place in the National League Central. However, Adam Wainwright's pitching tonight, so that's why the Cardinals are -115 chalk.

Reds (Bailey) vs. Padres (Stults)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Both Eric Stults and Homer Bailey have pitched quite well this season, but don't have the win-loss records to back it up. Bailey and the Reds are -135 favorites for this afternoon.

Rockies (Chatwood) vs. Braves (Minor)

Covered by Joe Freda

Atlanta's bats have broken out in this series and they'll try to inflict some more damage on promising young pitcher Tyler Chatwood tonight. The Braves are currently trading at -170, but are we going to be quick to add them to our MLB picks?

Giants (Gaudin) vs. Phillies (Kendrick)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Now it's the Giants that are on a sizable losing streak. They've lost five straight games and will enter this evening's game as +115 underdogs in the MLB odds.

Mariners (Iwakuma) vs. Red Sox (Lackey)

Covered by Swingin' Johnson

The heart of the order came up big for the Red Sox yesterday. Will they be able to make life difficult on Hisashi Iwakuma? Boston will come in as -150 chalk at Fenway.

Royals (Guthrie) vs. Twins (Correia)

Covered by Joe Freda

Believe it or not, the Royals are the hottest team in baseball right now. They've won seven straight to put them above .500, but tonight they find themselves as dogs (+105) in Minnesota.
