Find out where our cappers believe the best MLB betting lies for a busy slate on Wednesday night.

Tigers (Scherzer) vs. Blue Jays (Johnson)

Covered by Ron Patrick

The Tigers finally got back on the winning side of things in a hard-fought victory last night and now turn to Max Scherzer to give them another boost tonight against Josh Johnson and the Blue Jays.

Unfortunately, Ron was just off with his run-line prediction, but he's going right back to it for tonight's game. Toronto is still hurting when it comes to injuries and Scherzer has been nothing short of a beast all season, so he's backing a Detroit win by two or more runs.

Dodgers (Greinke) vs. Rockies (Chatwood)

Covered by Joe Freda

Clayton Kershaw pitched a complete-game gem and the red-hot Dodgers grabbed yet another win against the Rockies last night. Can Zack Greinke shut down the Colorado bats tonight? L.A. is favored at a short price of -110.

Though it's difficult to fade a team as hot as the Dodgers, Joe believes the best value for your MLB picks lies with the Rockies tonight, considering Greinke hasn't been nearly as effective as Kershaw and Tyler Chatwood has been solid for Colorado.

Phillies (Lannan) vs. Pirates (Locke)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Jeff Locke's expected start yesterday was pushed back a day and he'll face off against the Phillies this evening, with his Pirates aiming to even up the series at one game apiece. Early MLB odds have Pittsburgh at about -150 to win.

We all know Locke has been something special this season, but unfortunately he may not get the best run support tonight, as the Pirates are only 8-8 against lefties in 2013. That said, Ron is still selecting a Pittsburgh win on the money-line.

Orioles (Feldman) vs. White Sox (Santiago)

Covered by Willie Bee

It hasn't taken long for Scott Feldman to make his Orioles debut. After getting traded from Chicago, he'll toe the rubber versus the White Sox, with Baltimore currently acting as a -120 favorite at the sportsbooks.

What's the best MLB value play for this game? Willie wasn't able to find any live baseball betting lines before making a final pick, but his lean is on Chicago at home, as they have actually been swinging the bats better as of late.

Diamondbacks (Delgado) vs. Mets (Harvey)

Covered by Jeff Grant

A late offensive explosion spurred the Mets to a home win against Patrick Corbin last night, and now New York has the luxury of sending out ace Matt Harvey, who's 7-1 with a 2.00 ERA and 0.85 WHIP on the year.

You always run a risk of losing wagers late on in games when bullpens take over, and in the Big Apple that seems to happen quite a bit. So, Jeff is making a play on the Mets at roughly -175, but only for the first five innings of play.

Padres (Volquez) vs. Red Sox (Lester)

Covered by Willie Bee

Willie got it right yesterday, cashing a run-line play in Boston's 4-1 victory over San Diego. For tonight, Jon Lester and the Red Sox are priced out at -180, with the total trading at 10 runs.

Why not the exact same play? After all, Edinson Volquez has been about as inconsistent as they come, and Boston's bats can break out in any given inning. Willie is going with the Red Sox again on the run-line at about +100.

Cubs (Garca) vs. Athletics (Colon)

Covered by Joe Freda

A three-run blast from Derek Norris turned the tide for the Athletics last night, guiding them to a 8-7 win at home and a cashed ticket for many thankful chalky Oakland backers. The MLB odds are pretty similar for tonight, as the Athletics are listed at -190.

That's a rather high number considering how well Matt Garza has been pitching recently. With his MLB picks, Joe has decided that a total play may be in order. A lot of runs were scored in the series opener last night, but he's expecting much more of a pitchers' duel and is taking the UNDER 7.5 runs.
