Some earlier games have already started, but let's go over the rest of tonight's MLB betting slate. Is there value out there?

Of the games that have already started, the one we had a pick for was St. Louis/Cincinnati. Willie Bee has been covering series and decided that the OVER 7.5 runs was the best course of action for game three.

When it comes down to making our sports picks, here are the rest of our selections for Wednesday...

Nationals/Braves Game 3

The Braves, believe it or not, have won nine straight games against the Nationals and have an excellent chance of making that 10 with Paul Maholm on the mound.

Maholm was killed by the Tigers in his latest start, but he had been money in every start before that. He's already tormented Washington once this season, holding them to four hits and no runs in 7 and 2/3 innings during a 9-0 Atlanta win.

The Nationals will try and break their curse against the Braves behind the arm of Jordan Zimmermann, who's 4-0 with a 2.00 ERA and 0.86 WHIP so far this season.

Despite Zimmermann's strong start, Willie Bee doesn't see any reason to fade Atlanta in this spot. They clearly have a mental edge in this head-to-head series and you know Maholm is going to do his best to bounce back after struggling against Detroit. Willie is backing a Braves win at -130 on the MLB odds board.

Ron Patrick has posted his MLB picks in favor of Colorado (+130) in game three of this NL West series. He doesn't see much of a mismatch either way, so he's taking the value that comes with the Rockies. Joe Catalano is going the other way and forecasting an L.A. win at home.

A great start for the Giants in this series has them up 2-0. They'll go for the sweep in Arizona tonight, with Tim Lincecum getting the call for the visitors. Ron is expecting the Diamondbacks to re-gain some pride as -115 favorites.

Red Sox/Blue Jays

The Red Sox have to like their chances of a win tonight. Why? Clay Buchholz has been nothing short of outstanding and his dominance is the reason Boston is a -130 road favorite. Jeff Grant has made his play in favor of the Red Sox for the first five innings and Joe Catalano likes Boston on the full game line as part of his MLB picks of the day.

We don't know what's happened to Roy Halladay, but boy that was ugly last night. Cliff Lee and the Phillies will try to erase that memory as a favorite of -135. Jeff Grant, however, is going a different direction with his sports picks, backing the UNDER 8 runs.

The Yankees responded nicely yesterday after a very surprising blowout loss in the series opener. Hiroki Kuroda pitched well and New York was able to notch a 7-4 win. Tonight LT Sports Profit Group is recommending the UNDER 9 runs in the finale.

Rangers/White Sox

Chris Sale will square off against Nick Tepesch at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington tonight, with the Rangers favored in the -115 range. Sale has gone 0-2 with a 7.94 ERA in two road starts this season, so we're not too taken aback by LT's decision to back a Texas win here.
