Let’s take a closer look at the MLB betting odds for seven starting pitchers that are scheduled to take the hill Tuesday.

Cleveland Indians right-hander Justin Masterson has been on a roll, but it may come to an end against the Detroit Tigers. Before placing your MLB picks, let's take a look at some of the bigger names taking to the mound tonight.

Let our Tuesday MLB Odds Report help you uncover the best value on offer tonight.

Matt Cain, San Francisco Giants

The right-hander has watched the club alternate wins and losses over its last four games, as he comes off a 2-1 road victory over the Philadelphia Phillies last time out.

Since the All-Star break, Cain has been one of the best pitchers in baseball—fashioning a 1.80 ERA in his past three outings.

Yu Darvish, Texas Rangers

The right-hander has alternated wins and losses over his last five efforts, as he comes off a 7-1 home victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks—allowing just five hits over seven shutout frames.

In eight career starts versus the Los Angeles Angels, Darvish has compiled a 5-1 record and 3.83 ERA—surrendering three or fewer runs in seven of those appearances.

Jeremy Hellickson, Tampa Bay Rays

Hellickson had his personal six-game winning streak snapped last time out, as he suffered a 7-0 home defeat to the Diamondbacks—allowing four runs and seven hits over 4.1 innings of work.

The right-hander is 1-4 with a 6.60 ERA in eight career interleague outings, including a 0-1 mark and 8.27 ERA in three such appearances in 2013.

Felix Hernandez, Seattle Mariners

The right-hander leads the American League with a 2.30 ERA, while he’s tallied a 6-0 record and 2.11 ERA over his last 11 starts.

In 10 lifetime appearances versus the Toronto Blue Jays, Hernandez is 4-4 with a 4.52 ERA, including a 0-1 mark and 10.80 ERA in two games at Safeco Field.

Edwin Jackson, Chicago Cubs

The club is 9-12 in his 21 starts this season, but it has proven victorious in five of those last six appearances.

In 11 lifetime starts versus the Philadelphia Phillies, Jackson has gone 3-6 with a 4.57 ERA, including a 0-3 mark and 5.50 ERA in three appearances at Citizens Bank Park.

Mat Latos, Cincinnati Reds

The right-hander is 7-3 with a 4.07 ERA in 14 career interleague starts, as he prepares to face the Oakland Athletics for the first time. However, MLB odds do list his club as the -155 favorites for tonight's matchup.

In 55 appearances with the Reds since being acquired from the San Diego Padres, Latos has put together a 24-7 record and 3.44 ERA, with the club winning 37 of those outings.

Justin Masterson, Cleveland Indians

The right-hander has won his last three efforts, including a 6-1 home victory over the Chicago White Sox last time out, as he allowed one run and five hits over 6.2 innings of work.

In 16 career games (13 starts) versus the Detroit Tigers, Masterson has gone 2-8 with a 5.50 ERA, including a 0-2 mark and 7.71 ERA in two outings this season.
