We're back with another edition of our daily MLB odds report. Get updated on the latest lines before placing your final picks.

Rangers (Perez) vs. Orioles (Britton)

Covered by Willie Bee

A big sixth inning, in which the Rangers scored six runs, propelled them to a 8-5 win in the opener yesterday. Derek Holland moved to 7-4 on the season, while Scott Feldman was handed his first loss since joining the Orioles.

Willie found it hard to pass up an underdog price on Texas in game one of the set and is feeling the same way tonight. Martin Perez has been solid, so he's taking the Rangers at MLB odds of +111.

Athletics (Straily) vs. Pirates (Cole)

Covered by Jeff Grant

It was expected to be a pitching duel between Bartolo Colon and Jeff Locke and that's certainly what it ended up being. Colon, however, won the battle and therefore improved his win-loss mark to 12-3 with a 2.69 ERA for the season.

What's the best option for our MLB picks in tonight's game in Pittsburgh? The two starters, Gerrit Cole and Dan Straily, aren't too shabby either, but when it comes down to it Jeff is going to side with the Pirates at -117.

Dodgers (Nolasco) vs. Diamondbacks (Kennedy)

Covered by Jeff Grant

Ricky Nolasco makes his Dodgers debut tonight at Chase Field, with the Diamondbacks set to call on Ian Kennedy to provide them with a good outing. Arizona is currently a small favorite at home against this surging L.A. team.

Though the Dodgers are making a lot of noise at the moment, Jeff discusses the fact that they've struggled when listed as road underdogs by oddsmakers. So, he feels it's in everyone's best interest to side with Arizona at home tonight.

Nationals (Jordan) vs. Phillies (Hamels)

Covered by Ron Patrick

All things considered, Cole Hamels has a great opportunity to grab his fourth win of the season tonight against young Taylor Jordan. The MLB odds have Philadelphia favored anywhere from -130 to -140, while the total is at 8.5 runs.

Jordan has been a stud in the minors and has held his own through his first starts, but the edge tonight has to go to the experienced Hamels. Ron is on the same page and is selecting the Phillies with his sports picks.

Royals (Shields) vs. Yankees (Sabathia)

Covered by Jeff Grant

Jeremy Guthrie shut down the Yankees completely last night. Will we see something similar from James Shields (3-6, 3.23 ERA) tonight? He'll be opposed by the ever-reliable CC Sabathia, who's 9-6 with a 4.06 ERA.

As of now you can back New York to win at roughly -140, with the Royals at +130 and the total at 7.5 runs. Jeff is taking the Yankees here, as Sabathia has been very successful whenever umpire Angel Hernandez has been calling balls and strikes.

Mets (Gee) vs. Giants (Zito)

Covered by Willie Bee

It took 16 innings, but the Mets pulled off the win last night to give them a nice little head-start in the series. Tonight's pitching matchup will feature Barry Zito, who's been a stud at home, versus Dillon Gee.

Though the Giants have been struggling mightily recently, on the surface this seems to be a good bounce-back situation for them, with Zito at 4-1 with a 1.98 ERA in 10 home starts this season. San Francisco at -130 is the pick for Willie.
