Tuesday brings with it a full baseball schedule once again. Are there any surprises on the odds boards, and where can bettors find the best value for their MLB picks?

How are the MLB odds shaking up for tonight's games? Has there been any significant movement?

Rangers (Darvish) vs. Yankees (Kuroda)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Very rarely do you see Hiroki Kuroda getting plus money at home, but that's the case for tonight's opening game against Yu Darvish and the Rangers.

Sometimes you have to just go with the value play, and that's what Ron believes he's doing in backing the Yankees at this kind of price on their home turf. Kuroda has been getting the job done for New York this season, so that price of +115 does look tempting indeed.

Giants (Kickham) vs. Dodgers (Fife)

Covered by Willie Bee

Some bad luck helped condemn the Giants to a 3-1 loss in the opening game of the set yesterday. Tonight the pitching matchup includes two pitchers trying to make their mark in the majors in Stephen Fife and Mike Kickham.

Originally it was Chad Gaudin who was supposed to start for San Francisco, but he was just placed on the DL, meaning Kickham will make his second start at this level. Tonight Willie believes the value is on the Dodgers, who are listed at MLB odds of -130 to grab another win.

Diamondbacks (Cahill) vs. Nationals (Gonzalez)

Covered by Joe Freda

Two rather reliable starters in Gio Gonzalez and Trevor Cahill take the hill tonight. The Nationals have had a hard time generating offense without star Bryce Harper in the heart of the order, but maybe they can make life difficult on Cahill here.

With his MLB picks, Joe thinks the UNDER 7 runs is the way to go. Five of the last seven meetings between Washington and Arizona in the nation's capital have resulted in cashed tickets for the UNDER. Joe is expecting more of a pitchers' duel than anything else tonight.

Blue Jays (Buehrle) vs. Rays (Moore)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The Rays finally ended Toronto's huge winning streak thanks to a nice outing from Jeremy Hellickson. The home team will be hoping to receive some more quality innings out of Matt Moore, who could be feeling much more confident after getting a win in Yankee Stadium last week.

With Tampa Bay at just 1-5 over their previous six when acting as a home favorite in the range of -110 to -150, Jeff is siding with Toronto with his sports picks.

Cardinals (Westbrook) vs. Astros (Harrell)

Covered by Jeff Grant

After getting humbled at home by the Rangers, the Cardinals will try to get back on track against the Astros in Houston, starting with tonight's game in which St. Louis is favored at approximately -150.

Jeff is angling towards a total play here and is thinking the OVER is the right call. The OVER has hit in six of Westbrook's past seven appearances on the mound, and we all know what St. Louis' offense is capable of doing when they put runners on base.

Mets (Wheeler) vs. White Sox (Sale)

Covered by Joe Freda

Zack Wheeler looked pretty darn good in his major league debut, and there's a good chance he'll shine again versus a Chicago offense that's been sorely lacking in the runs department in 2013.

However, Wheeler may meet his match in Chris Sale tonight, as he's been a steady presence atop the rotation for the White Sox all season long. It's no wonder Joe likes the UNDER 7 runs for tonight's game in the Windy City.

Biggest ML Favorites

Chicago White Sox (-175) vs. New York Mets

Boston Red Sox (-170) vs. Colorado Rockies

St. Louis Cardinals (-150) at Houston Astros

Washington Nationals (-145) vs. Arizona Cardinals

Oakland Athletics (-145) vs. Cincinnati Reds

Rangers (Darvish) vs. Yankees (Kuroda)

Covered by Ron Patrick

This should be one heck of a series, especially since it will open with Hiroki Kuroda (7-5, 2.78 ERA) and Yu Darvish (7-3, 2.84 ERA) on the mound. Both pitchers have been incredibly effective all season long.

With the Yankees at 22-16 at home and the Rangers are 22-17 on the road, this set could definitely go either way. The odds for game one however have the visitors favored at anywhere from -125 to -130 in the MLB odds.

Giants (Kickham) vs. Dodgers (Fife)

Covered by Willie Bee

The Giants have been in a pretty bad tailspin lately, having gone 9-13 in 22 games this month. They just lost three of four at home against the lowly Marlins and started off this series in L.A. by losing 3-1.

Michael Kickham will make his second major league start tonight. He was beaten up in his debut, allowing four hits, four runs, and four walks in only 2 and 1/3 innings. No odds had been released for this game at time of writing, but you better believe Fife and the Dodgers will be favored.

Diamondbacks (Cahill) vs. Nationals (Gonzalez)

Covered by Joe Freda

While the Diamondbacks remain in the top spot in the National League West, three games up on Colorado and San Diego, the Nationals continue to slowly but surely lose ground to Atlanta in the NL East.

The way Gio Gonzalez has been throwing the ball, you'd have to give the edge to Washington in tonight's matchup though. He went 1-1 with a 2.48 ERA in May and has recorded a 2.00 ERA in four June starts so far. The Nationals are -145 favorites, with the total at seven runs.

Blue Jays (Buehrle) vs. Rays (Moore)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The run is finally over. The Rays handed Toronto their first loss in quite some time, and will be hoping for a good outing from Matt Moore to inspire them to another win this evening. Tampa Bay is favored at -132 or so.

Moore looked much better in his recent start against the Yankees, that coming after a disastrous couple of weeks in which he allowed 19 runs in three assignments. He'll be opposed by veteran Mark Buehrle, who's just 1-3 with a 5.62 ERA on the road this season.

Cardinals (Westbrook) vs. Astros (Harrell)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The Cardinals, despite just getting swept at home by the Rangers, are still tops in the National League Central, but only by one game now. Watch out for Pittsburgh, a team that's won four straight and gone 7-3 over their last 10 to push their way into second place.

What that means is St. Louis could really use a good result against the Astros in game one of the series tonight. Seemingly they have a good chance at doing so, considering Jake Westbrook (3-2, 1.76 ERA) has looked strong in limited appearances in 2013.

Mets (Wheeler) vs. White Sox (Sale)

Covered by Joe Freda

Don't expect many runs when the White Sox and Mets meet up tonight. Chris Sale was roughed up a little bit in his latest start, but he's still got a 2.69 ERA and 0.97 WHIP on the year.

Then there's promising rookie Zack Wheeler, who shut out the Braves through six innings of four-hit ball in his major league debut one week ago. When it comes to what oddsmakers see happening, they've posted Sale and the White Sox as -170 favorites.
