This capper is on fire. Why stop here as we're carrying a tremendous amount of momentum going into Monday's MLB games. Here are your valuable MLB Picks of the day for Monday.

Joe C. Record 72-44 +26.44 Units

We faded the obvious play in the Cardinals and took the underdog Mets and made the correct play. With our other game, the Sunday Night Baseball Game was rained out. I'm a streaky capper, that has went on a few runs this season. We have the momentum and it's time to break the bank as I have a couple of winners for you folks out there today.

New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals
I have went with the Mets all season long in different spots and it's worked quite well for me. I'm going to stick with the Amazin's as Matt Harvey (8-6, 3.07) gets the start against Gio Gonzalez. Harvey has ace potential. He actually has potential to be on the level of Kershaw, but has been injured and get's a lack of run support from his team. You saw the Mets yesterday. They couldn't score a run for Jonathan Niese and were fortunate enough to defeat the Cardinals.

The Harvey Ego
There are some players in the game that are great such as Clayton Kershaw that don't carry an ego. Matt Harvey isn't one of them as he carries a massive ego.

He needs to be the center of attention and New York fans are starting to side with Jacob degrom as being "the man" and the ace of their pitching staff. deGrom certainly deserves it, but this will drive Matt Harvey's level of competitiveness to a different stratosphere. Look for Harvey to give his very best in the 2nd half of the season as his potential is very high. He came into the All-Star Break on a high, defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks and even hit a home run in that game. It was the first homer of his career.

In this game, Harvey will be tested, by a tough Washington team who is coming off of a tough loss as they happened to be in the direction of Zack Greinke's streak of scoreless innings. Washington was handcuffed the entire game and even Max Scherzer couldn't save Bryce Harper and company. I expect Washington to be a bit down after such a frustrating offensive display and they could be frustrated for a 2nd consecutive day. Make the underdog Mets your betting MLB pick.

MLB Pick: New York Mets +109 at BookMaker

Seattle Mariners vs. Detroit TigersNo Reason To Take Alfredo Simon
He looks like he hasn't exercised for his entire life at a hefty 267 pounds, but Alfredo Simon (8-6, 4.53) has had a lot of good pitching moments as a professional. Lately, Simon has gotten beaten up, allowing 5 or more runs in each of his last 5 games. That is absolutely terrible and without Miguel Cabrera playing, the bettor can get Detroit at an awesome price at Commerica Park.

Let's remember, the Seattle Mariners are nothing to write home about. The New York Yankees just made easy work out of the M's this past weekend as Seattle is a very weak team offensively. That said, Robinson Cano did break out of his shell with a 2 home run game at the stadium, but that's just one game. Cano has been one of the worst signings that I can remember. Seattle is the perfect team for Simon to get back on the winning track with as he has a very good offense to support him.

Dead Wood?
Detroit isn't the same team that they've been in the past and are actually 10.5 games out of first place in the American League Central Division and with a losing record of 45-46, but this team is still a contender when all parts are working correctly. There's still Victor and J.D. Martinez to deal with along with Yoenis Cespedes. I just can see the Tigers as an underdog or even with Seattle at home. Take the Tigers and let's look for Simon to either break out of his funk or for the offense to take matters into their own hands.
