We look to carry momentum into the rest of the MLB Season. I've discovered a couple of huge underdogs in which the betting public can profit from. Here are your MLB Picks of the Day.

Diamondbacks vs. DodgersSix Games Up and Twelve Remaining
The Los Angeles Dodgers would absolutely have to collapse to lose the division to the San Francisco Giants and I don't think that this will happen as their top two starters are the best in the game.

I also think that Zack Greinke (18-3 ,1.65) has a huge ego and one really bad start could put Jake Arrieta into the equation for the CY Young Award.

Although I would have to give it to Greinke, Arrieta is coming off of a complete game shutout and notched his 20th victory in the process. If you're looking solely at numbers, I can see an argument for Arrieta. Nonetheless, Greinke comes into this game with the Dodgers winning and on top and L.A. doesn't want to lose their momentum as they face a much inferior Arizona Diamondbacks team.

The only fear that I have hear is that the D'Backs have won their last 2 games while the Dodgers have lost their last 4 straight games. Manager, Don Mattingly doesn't want to overwork Greinke in a game like this and if the game comes down to the bullpen, anything can happen.

Arizona comes into this game beating the Dodgers the first two games in this series by a total of 16-4. If it weren't for Greinke, I would think that the Dodgers are a great fade at high MLB odds.

Pollock and Goldschmidt
This has been Arizona's 1-2 punch all season long that has left them hovering around the .500 mark. This team is a star or two away from being a contender. Paul Goldschmidt is the major star on this team and at 30 HR, 102 RBI, a.318 BA, and a .436 OBP%. He's been dominant.

Goldy had encountered a slight cold spell, but has gotten passed it and look for Greinke to pitch carefully when facing Goldschmidt as he can change the complexion of this game with one swing of the bat. Arizona's top two hitters are better than any hitter on the Dodgers roster and this game is far from a forgone conclusion in favor of Los Angeles.

Yankees vs. Blue Jays: Win One For Yogi!
Of course I've made a lot of money for the betting public on Yankee games, but I was going to stay away from this game with Ivan Nova getting the start against Marcus Stroman and a hard-hitting Blue Jays lineup.

We've heard that Yankees legend, Yogi Berra, has passed away at the age of 90. This is a man that was instrumental in winning 10 World Championships and is loved by many. For sentimental purposes and the Yankees coming off of a huge victory against Toronto on a Greg Bird blast in extra innings, I'm siding with the Yankees here.

These two teams have been going back and forth for the rights to the divsion title, but yesterday's game was a must win situation for New York and Bird came through like a champ and delivered the Blue Jays a loss. It was his 10th home run in slightly over 100 at-bats as the Yankees know that Mark Teixiera is out for the season.

With Nova (6-8, 5.11) starting and the Blue Jays having a much fresher bullpen than the Yankees, that gives me reason for concern, but for my free MLB pick, I think that the Yankees pull this game out for themselves and for the great Yogi Berra. Motivation will play a major role in this game.

MLB Pick- New York Yankees +171 at 5Dimes.
