Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Los Angeles Angels: Can't Get Away From the Juice
I'm a little disappointed in this game as I thought that MLB Odds  would be a little scared off by the Dodgers exceptional play, but the Halos don't have to face Clayton Kershaw or Zack Greinke and it's an opportunity to salvage a game as Garrett Richards (13-10, 3.77) gets the start against Mat Latos.

The Angels must get on a run at 69-69 as they're in a weak division in which they only trail the Astros by 5 games. Houston was on a major run at the beginning of the season, but has finally started to lose and this is the time for Mike Trout and the Angels to get it together as they've had a disappointing season.

Where the Dodgers are concerned, they're dominating and it hasn't been all due to Greinke and Kershaw, but let's face it; It will be really tough to beat those two pitchers in a playoff format as both are dominant and L.A. appears to have the two best pitchers in baseball and good pitching wins games.

In this game the Angels have the better pitcher in Garrett Richards and Richards hasn't been the same since his late season injury last season, but he can definitely get the job done here.

Speaking of the best in the league, it's disputable, but most will say that the Angels have the best all around player in Mike Trout. At 34 HR, 76 RBI, and a .293 BA, Trout won't have a chance at getting AL MVP honors over Josh Donaldson, but he's had a superb start to his career and the game isn't all about offense as Trout's defensive game can save runs.

Trout's splits don't look good in this game, but he's capable of doing damage to any pitcher. Surprisingly enough, he's hitting just .272 at home. An off year is still a top-notch year for this stud out of Vineland, New Jersey.

Who's Hot?
Kole Calhoun has been on a tear for the Angels. The guy hits in the leadoff spot and has 23 HR and 72 RBI. He's had a home run in each of his last 2 games and is hitting .406 with 3 HR and 5 RBI in the month of September. Can Calhoun homer in his 3rd consecutive game is the question? It's definitely possible.

New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals: A Scoring Machine
I never thought that I'd be saying this about the New York Mets as they had difficulties scoring more than 3 runs in a game in the first half of the season. Ever since this team picked up Yoenis Cespedes, they have been putting up monster numbers. In their last 18 games, the Mets have managed 142 runs. They have been consistently putting up 6 or more runs in each game.

In their series against the Nationals, they've beaten the Nats twice and have scored 8 runs in each game. Can anyone stop this team is the question? Like the Dodgers, they have elite pitching, but a deeper staff and a better offense.

Where Does Washington Go From Here?
This was Washington's chance to make up a few games on the Mets where the division was concerned, but clearly not even a 7-1 deficit could stop the Amazins yesterday as Yoenis Cespedes sparked the rally with a bases clearing double. The Nationals relief pitching failed to get the ball over the plate and Jonathan Papelbon, a guy who doesn't give up home runs, gave up a gopher ball to Joe Neuwenheis as the Mets managed to steal this game.

In this game, you have a spectacular matchup with deGrom and Strasburg, but I'm going to play contrarian here and make my MLB Pick with the 'Under' as both of these pitchers are due for a pitcher's duel.
