New York Yankees vs. New York Mets: Huge Game in New York Tonight
The only thing negative about this game is that the NFL Season started and this game will be overshadowed by Sunday Night Football. The true baseball fan will probably flip the channel back and forth, but Matt Harvey is always an attention getter whether it's his talent or his pitch count ordered by agent Scott Boras.

Harvey will eclipse that 180 innings limit as the Mets are going to win their respective division and play more games in the playoffs. There is no way that Matt Harvey (12-7, 2.88) will shut it down. This has been a slightly above average season for Harvey and his ERA is 2.88. You know this young man is destined for greatness, barring another injury.

That said, Harvey is coming off of two terrible starts. In these starts, he pitched 11 2/3 innings and allowed 11 runs on 17 hits and still managed to pick up a victory and a no decision. It was only fitting as there have been a lot of games that Harvey has received little or no support, pitched a gem, and still got the loss. The Mets bats, led by Yoenis Cespedes (35 HR, 103 RBI, .290 BA) should be able to keep the Mets in this game in case Harvey has trouble, which I don't expect.

Don't Be Fooled
C.C. Sabathia gets the start for the Bombers and he's coming off of a fantastic start as he was stretched to an unusual amount of pitches. Sabathia pitched 111 pitches and allowed just 3 hits in 6 2/3 innings. This is unusual because C.C. is normally given a short leash and won't go more than 5 innings, but Joe Girardi took his chances and it payed off. Sabathia has pitched rather well as of late, but don't be surprised to see the Yankees bullpen come into this game early if there are any signs of trouble.

Arod To the Rescue
I definitelty expect Alex Rodriguez to start this game as he has the knack for the big hit in the big spot and it doesn't get any more bigger than this against the Yankees cross town rivals. Arod has hit 30 home runs in 15 season and only Hank Aaron has done that. My gut say's that Arod will come up big in this game as the New York fans love him. Make Yankees your MLB pick.

Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers
Texas came back strong with a victory against the Mariners yesterday, 10-1 and today is the rubber match between these two teams, but more importantly, the MLB odds favorite Rangers really need this game as they hold a 2.5 game lead over the Houston Astros in the American League West Division.Standing in their way will be the best pitcher in the American League for the last decade  "The King" Felix Hernandez.

Looking At the Bright Side
Although Hernandez has managed 17 wins this season, this hasn't been one of his best seasons in his illustrious career. He carries a 3.55 ERA overall and a 4.44 ERA on the road. The King was also roughed up by the Los Angeles Angels for 4 runs and 5 hits in 7 innings in his last start. It was a little unusual as he pitched less than 100 pitches and if he has a repeat performance, this would be the opportunity that guys like Prince Fielder and Mitch Moreland are looking for.

Comeback Player of the Year
Prince Fielder has the award sealed up, especially the way that the Rangers have been playing lately. No offense to Alex Rodriguez, who is also deserving of the award, but Fielder has hit for average, decent power, and, got on base at a very high rate. He also plays the field and Arod is a designated hitter. If anyone were to be successful against Felix Hernandez, it would be Fielder, who is 10 for his last 27 at bats with 3 HR ad 9 RBI.

MLB Pick- Under 8.5 -120 at 5Dimes 2 Units (This is one of the only books that offers this game at 8.5 and not 8, therefore, jump on it!)
