We have been on fire with our MLB Picks lately. All you have to do is look at our seasonal record and know that the advice that I've been giving you has been a "home run" with my betting picks.

It's All About Logic
I'm not one of those cappers that is going to recite you a bunch of random trends because I see it as a waste of time. You look at my picks from yesterday and the logic in picking the Mets/Dodgers under the 6 was genius because Zack Greinke hadn't given up a run since I don't know when and Jacob deGrom has been simply masterful.

We then went to the Sunday Night Baseball game and took the Boston Red Sox, who had lost 9 out of their last 10 and David Ortiz goes for 2 home runs and 7 RBI's alone. It's called picking your spots, not being so technical, and being confident (because people depend on these picks) and that's been the recipe for success. Time for more winning. Tons of house money here and if I think out of the box, it's your choice to follow a proven winner or disagree (and that's okay).

New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers

Why Wouldn't I Keep Riding the Yankees?
The New York Yankees have been a big reason for my success as they have just been killing it as of late and seperating themselves from the pack in the American League East Division.

The Yankees now have a 6.5 game lead and it looks like they're headed for the post season in my opinion. They have the perfect blend of speed, power, great fielding, and an elite bullpen that's making them rise to the top. One more little tidbit of information. Today is Alex Rodriguez's 40th birthday and while I don't expect him to hit 3 home runs, I do expect Arod to be a factor in this ball game as the offense will need to provide some runs as Ivan Nova (2-3, 3.34) makes me a tad nervous. Aside from the bullpen, Rodriguez and Teixeira have been the MVP's on this team.

Sending A "Tex"Message
Radio announcer, John Sterling, loves to make that call when Mark Teixeira hits a home run and he's been making a lot of those calls this season. Tex has been the MVP for the Yanks this season as he's been hitting for power, coming up with big hits, and saving runs in the field with his amazing fielding at first base.

For the season. Tex has 24 HR, 65 RBI, and a .259 BA. It's been a struggle for Teixeira to get his batting average up the past few seasons, but he has broken through. Look for New York to blast the Rangers as they have won 8 out of their last 10 games and have been a confident bunch of players.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Francisco Giants

This Could Be A Dog Fight
I don't like to pick against the Brewers as they have a deep core of mashers minus Aramis Ramirez and they could put a 10 spot up on any team with the likes of Parra, Braun, Lind, and Gomez. However, the Giants don't always look pretty (their numbers don't look pretty), but the one thing that's always attractive about the defending champs is their win total and ability to dominate in the post-season. This is a team that puts it into overdrive when we hit the last couple of months of the MLB season.

S.F. and the Dominance of Chris Heston
We take a look at the standings and of course, San Francisco has won 9 out of their last 10 games. They're a team with 2nd and 3rd tier stars such as Buster Posey and Hunter Pence that just know how to deliver. In tonight's game, Chris Heston (10-5, 3.18) get's the start and the young man has been superb all season long.

In his last 3 starts, Heston has allowed just 1 earned run in 21 1/3 innings and that has equated to 2 wins and 0 losses. In his last start against the Padres, Heston proved that he can go the distance with a one hitter in 7 1/3 innings. When I mean go the distance, I mean, Heston threw 116 pitches and that's rare nowadays. There's a lot of juice to lay, but how can the bettor not like San Francisco? Take the Giants against the Brew Crew .
