We've been on red hot fire all season long with our MLB Picks. Let's see if we continue the magic as there are a full slate of baseball games leading up to Sunday Night Baseball.

I've got some nice and valuable plays on Sunday's odds, and when I say valuable, I mean valuable as anyone who were to tail these picks would've made a large profit. After a 6 game losing streak, we have come right back with a 6 game streak without a loss. Enough about me; let's get right to the picks.
New York Mets (30-27) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (27-28): "deGrom is the Da Man"
I only speak truth and it's not Matt Harvey who has led the Mets pitching staff as he attempts to recover after not playing last season due to injury, but Jacob deGrom has been the best pitcher that the Mets have had to offer this season. The Mets haven't been scoring runs as Bartolo Colon's spectacular pitching performance was wasted last night in a 2-1 loss, but deGrom is nearly unhittable.
For the season, deGrom is 6-4 with a 2.41 ERA. He started off the season a bit slow, but has been on fire as of late.
In his last 4 starts, deGrom has allowed just 3 earned runs in 29 1/3 innings while striking out 34 batters. This is a pitcher that's not going to allow many hits. His Achilles heel is that he's not a David Price that can pitch 110 to 120 pitches and pitch complete games. The Mets have lost 2 straight games against a team that they should beat which doesn't have the most overpowering offense without David Wright. Jacob deGrom makes up the difference in a major way and the bettor will be able to bet the Mets at attractive MLB odds.
The Diamondbacks don't have the most formidable offense. Once opposing pitcher get past the top 3 hitters, there's a major decline in the Diamondabcks offense. That said, the number 3 hitter in the lineup in Paul Goldschmidt might very well be the MVP of the season thus far. Goldy is hitting .343 with 16 HR and 46 RBI. This is a player that can easily have a multiple home run game when hot and is a problem for any opposing pitcher; including deGrom.
Goldchmidt has gotten off to a slow start in the month of June, but we are only a week into the month and he still managed to go yard against the Amazin's. deGrom and the Mets bullpen will need to pitch around this player unless the game is a blowout.
Look for the Mets to get back on the winning track. Good pitching usually wins games and the Mets have an A+ pitcher taking the mound this afternoon in Jacob deGrom

St. Louis Cardinals (37-19) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (32-24): Two Aces Battling It Out
It's unfortunate that the NBA Finals will be played tonight because it will take away from this game, which should be a dandy. Zack Greinke, who has been possibly the Dodgers best pitcher this season up until recently, faces Lance Lynn (4-4, 3.03) who is coming off of a strong start against the Milwaukee Brewers.
This is a case of two pitchers who have not received a great deal of run support lately and something has to give as both hurlers offer some nasty stuff.
The edge goes to the Dodgers with Greinke as he sports a sub. 2.00 ERA and has holding opposing hitters to just a .205 batting average. That said, If you take out Greinke's last outing, he's allowed 1 run in each of his last 4 starts and is 0-1 in those starts with 3-no decisions. The Dodgers offense has just not provided an adequate amount of run support and these great performances are going to waste.
The last 2 games has been a split between these two teams with a total of 5 runs scored between the both of them. The Cardinals have the stronger offense with Kolten Wong, Matt Carpenter, Matt Holliday, and Matt Adams, but the Dodgers have the far superior pitcher in Greinke.
Yasiel Puig is back from the disabled list and it couldn't come at a more opportune time for L.A. He won the game for the Dodgers yesterday and I wouldn't be surprised if he's a factor tonight. Make L.A. your pick with Greinke getting the start.
