Here's the lowdown on how the MLB betting odds are shaping up for Sunday's busy schedule of games.

Yankees (Sabathia) vs. Red Sox (Dempster)

Covered by Willie Bee

The Sunday night game pits two huge rivals against one another, with New York and Boston going at it at Fenway for round three. C.C. Sabathia, who's 3-4 with a 4.70 ERA on the road this season, will be opposed by Ryan Dempster, who 's gone 4-6 with a 4.07 ERA in 13 home starts.

Though Sabathia has the stuff to shut down an opposing lineup just like that, Boston will enter this game as the -135 favorites at the sportsbooks. The total's at an even nine runs.

Athletics (Colon) vs. Angels (Williams)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Looking over the scheduled starters, you have to give the edge to Bartolo Colon and the Athletics this afternoon. Colon's sporting a 12-3 record, 2.70 ERA, and 1.11 WHIP this season, with Jerome Williams at 5-5 with a 4.60 ERA.

That said, the Angels are playing some inspired baseball right now, so that's why oddsmakers haven't made Oakland overwhelming favorites. The Athletics are -110 chalk at time of writing.

Dodgers (Kershaw) vs. Nationals (Zimmermann)

Covered by Willie Bee

Are you as excited for this game as we are? This is a sensational battle between two of the top pitchers in the game. The numbers speak for themselves. Jordan Zimmermann is 12-4 with a 2.58 ERA and Clayton Kershaw is 8-6 with a 1.98 ERA.

We've got a low total on the board at seven runs, while the Dodgers come in as the -110 favorites on the MLB odds board. Check back with SBRForum shortly to see where Willie goes with his sports picks.

Orioles (Tillman) vs. Rangers (Perez)

Covered by Joe Freda

The other “late” game of the day features the Rangers and Orioles. Martin Perez had a hard time against Detroit in his most recent start, but overall he's been a pleasant surprise in the Texas rotation this season.

Baltimore will turn to Chris Tillman, who's 11-3 with a 3.95 ERA on the year. The Orioles enter as +120 MLB odds underdogs for this evening's matchup in Arlington.
