Orioles (Tillman) vs. Yankees (Pettitte)

Covered by Willie Bee

Thanks to a Jim Johnson implosion in the ninth inning, the Yankees staged a rally and ended up winning 3-2. Good thing too, as our very own Willie Bee had pinned down New York as his pick.

It was certainly a gut-wrenching loss for Baltimore, as they led throughout the entire game behind a great start from Miguel Gonzalez. Tonight Chris Tillman tries to give the Orioles a great shot at evening up the series, but Willie has decided that the UNDER 9 runs is the way to go for our MLB picks.

Red Sox (Dempster) vs. Angels (Williams)

Covered by Willie Bee

Though the Angels are one of the hottest teams in the major leagues right now, they couldn't overcome the Red Sox in the series opener yesterday. Boston made life difficult on C.J. Wilson and ended up winning 6-2.

For game two of the set it's Jerome Williams up against Ryan Dempster. Willie is keeping the theme of total plays by selecting the OVER 8.5 runs to come through at the sportsbooks, looking for the two offenses to get after it tonight.

Dodgers (Fife) vs. Giants (Bumgarner)

Covered by Ron Patrick

The Dodgers are storming their way up the division standings, topped off by a beatdown of the Giants at AT&T Park last night. L.A., however, is the heavy underdog in the MLB odds for tonight's game against Madison Bumgarner.

Bumgarner has gone 3-1 with a 2.74 ERA in seven home starts this season, but Ron discusses how poor San Francisco's offense has been performing. With that in mind, he can't back the ice-cold Giants is taking the Dodgers at +155.

Braves (Hudson) vs. Phillies (Kendrick)

Covered by Joe Freda

After barely hanging on yesterday, Kyle Kendrick and the Phillies will try to make it two wins out of two in this series. They'll be going against Tim Hudson, who's 4-7 with a 4.22 ERA so far this season.

Looking over the splits, you'd have to say Kendrick has the edge here. He's gone 4-2 with a 3.38 ERA in eight home starts, while Hudson is 1-7 with a 5.71 ERA in nine road assignments on the year. When it comes to placing his sports picks for the day though, Joe is siding with the UNDER 8.5 runs.

Padres (Marquis) vs. Nationals (Zimmermann)

Covered by Joe Freda

Welcoming back Bryce Harper has provided a spark to Washington's offense and the Nationals have now gone 6-4 over their last 10 games. They have a great shot at winning today too with Jordan Zimmermann on the hill.

Jason Marquis (9-4, 3.74 ERA) has been good for the reeling Padres and needs to be at his absolute best this afternoon. Joe believes he'll step it up, helping the UNDER 8 runs cash for backers.

White Sox (Sale) vs. Rays (Moore)

Covered by Joe Catalano

This should be one heck of a game between two excellent starters. Matt Moore has seemingly figured it all out again after a horrific stretch, while Chris Sale continues to keep the White Sox in games with his stellar performances.

Though he has a terrific 2.79 ERA on the year, Sale has gone just 5-7, pointing to just how little run support he's been getting. Nonetheless, Joe believes Chicago will come through for their ace tonight and is picking the White Sox as +125 MLB odds underdogs.
