Our handicapping professional has gone an outstanding 5-1 (+496) with his underdog MLB picks during the past three days. Go inside to get his two underdog picks for Wednesday’s card right here.

White Sox (Quintana) vs. Blue Jays (Estrada) 7:05 PM ET
Jose Quintana will be making his fifth start of 2016, and he’s compiled an excellent 1.82 ERA in his first four. During six career starts versus Toronto, all of which occurred since 2012, Quintana posted a superb 1.88 ERA, and that includes going 3-0 at Toronto with a sparkling 0.89 ERA. The White Sox are 7-1 in their last eight games, and have won five in a row heading into Wednesday.

Marco Estrada has a very good 2.50 during his first three starts of the season, but has a somewhat alarming 1.44 WHIP during those outings. Toronto has struggled of late, going 2-5 over their previous seven games, and had a dismal .216 team batting average during that span. The Blue Jays were the best power hitting team in baseball last season, but they’re averaging less than 1 home run per game this year.

I love the sizable money line underdog value in this American League matchup, and one of my Wednesday MLB picks will concur with that sentiment.

Indians (Tomlin) vs. Twins (Berrios) 8:10 PM ET
Josh Tomlin has been extremely sharp during his two starts in 2016, evidenced by posing an exceptional 1.54 ERA. He’s made one start in each of the past two seasons against Minnesota, compiling a stellar 2.08 ERA and microscopic 0.77 WHIP during those outings. Cleveland has lost the first two games of this series by scores of 4-3 on Monday, and then 6-5 last night. Cleveland is 2-0 this season after losing each of their previous two games. Since the 2015 MLB campaign began, the Indians have gone a more than respectable 48-43 (.527) in away games.

Minnesota will go with 21 year old Jose Berrios on the mound today, and the youngster will be making his MLB debut. Berrios is considered the top prospect in the Twins organization, and he’s certainly lived up to that billing. Last season he tossed a combined 166 1/3 innings between AA and AAA baseball, and had an impressive 2.87 ERA. Berrios began this season with AAA Rochester, and was 2-0 with an excellent 1.06 ERA. The Twins were in no hurry to call up Berrios, but injuries sustained by Ervin Sanatana and Kyle Gibson prematurely forced their hand. Dominating at the minor league level is one thing, and that always doesn’t translate to immediate success in the big leagues.
