Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides a look at Overnight Betting Lines for Wednesday's slate of Major League Baseball action. Check inside for the MLB picks.

Seattle Mariners vs. Cleveland Indians
It will be a good pitching matchup on Wednesday night between the Mariners and Indians as Taijuan Walker takes the mound for Seattle and wull be up against Danny Salazar for Cleveland. Walker has been strong in his first two starts allowing 3 runs in 12 innings of work against Oakland and Texas combined.

He dominated Cleveland in two terrific outings against them last season holding them to a single run in 14 innings over a pair of starts. Cleveland’s lineup was hitting fairly well until Sunday when they were shut out by Steven Matz and the NY Mets and it may not be easy for their bats to come back to life in this game against Walker.

On the flip side, Danny Salazar the hard throwing Indians righty has been every bit as sharp in his first two starts of the 2016 season as his counterpart. Salazar has allowed only 1 run in 11.1 innings in his first two starts combined against Tampa Bay and the Chicago White Sox and will get the benefit of facing a Seattle lineup that has struggled for the most part in the last week or so with the Mariners plating 3 runs or less in seven of their last nine games.

This should be a low scoring affair between two very promising young arms and I will be looking to play this game 'Under' the total as the MLB pick, which should be somewhere in the 7 or 7.5 range.

Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers
I’ve been repeatedly betting against Doug Fister of the Houston Astros either from a side or total perspective this season and I have no qualms sticking with that philosophy here. Fister is trying to recover from a season’s worth of injuries and ineffectiveness with the Washington Nationals in the 2015 season but he is finding out the hard way that it could be a long road back for him.

In fact, I’m not sure Fister will ever regain the early career form he had in Seattle and Detroit. Fister has made two starts this season and allowed 9 runs in 10.2 innings of work combined against Milwaukee and Kansas City. Do not forget to check out the MLB odds boards for more information.

He will be up against a very good Texas Rangers lineup here in Arlington and his track record against them isn’t good particularly here in Arlington as Fister has been hammered for 14 runs on 18 hits in 9 innings of work in his previous two starts in this ballpark during his career.

Texas ace Cole Hamels will be on the mound here and the veteran lefty has been strong early in the season as Texas has gone a perfect 3-0 in Hamels starts so far in 2016. He gave up just 6 runs in 18.1 innings over those three starts against Seattle, LA Angels and Baltimore. He performed well in his lone start against Houston last season holding the Astros to just 3 runs in 7 strong innings in a 5-3 win for the Rangers.

Fister remains on the fade list for me and looking toward Texas as a moderately priced home favorite here makes a lot of sense to me and possibly the Texas Rangers Team Total 'Over' will also offer some betting value in this matchup.
