After a nice 2-0 day while nailing the Yankees as the underdog, we look for a repeat performance with today's MLB schedule in which there's major opportunity. Here are your coveted MLB Picks of the Day for Tuesday.

Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees

Sensing Some Momentum
It seems like a few times each season, the New York Yankees go on a little run and that's when it's time for me to basically ride them and jump on the bandwagon. This year in particular has been tough as they've had a difficult time reaching the .500 mark. After beating Baltimore yesterday. New York has finally reached the .500 plateau and these games are huge as they carry a two-game swing concerning catching the O's.

Tonight, it's a very inconsistent Nathan Eovaldi (7-6, 5.11 ERA) squaring off against Vance Worley (2-0, 2.87 ERA). I think that if Eovaldi put's forth a decent effort, the Yankees have a slight edge as their bullpen is possibly one of the best ever and it doesn't even include the great Mariano Rivera. The issue for New York is getting to Betances in the 7th inning.

Carlos Beltran
Just when his batting average takes a bit of a dip, Beltran comes up with a huge 3 for 4 effort with a double to raise his batting average to an amazing .303 . In his last 2 games, Beltran is actually 5 for 8 with 2 doubles. Along with having a fantastic July (.333), Beltran has also hit the O's well this season hitting .320 with 1 HR and 3 RBI in 25 at-bats. My concern is that manager, Joe Girardi, gives Beltran a day off, but I don't think that it will happen today. The weather is supposed to drop to the mid-80's and the Yankees need wins. They can't win without the native of Puerto Rico.

A-Rod
I had a feeling that Alex Rodriguez was going to make his presence felt last night as he hit's Kevin Gausman well. Rodriguez proceeded to hit his 696th home run of his career. He too , hits Baltimore well, going 7 for 19 with 2 HR and 4 RBI. Even though he's considered a part-time player, I don't see how Joe Girardi keeps Alex out of the lineup tonight as this game possesses huge consequences. Look for New York to build off of last night's win and look to make it 4 straight wins at very appealing MLB odds.

Free MLB Pick: New York Yankees -107
Best Line Offered: at Bookmaker

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2991294, "sportsbooksIds":[93,238,1096,139,300], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Colorado Rockies

Coors Field Rules In Effect
You get Colorado's one big pitcher tonight in Tyler Chatwood (8-5, 3.29 ERA) getting the start, facing a pitcher in Blake Snell with a sub 4.00 ERA and 2.31 ERA on the road and this game has the looks of an under with the total listed at 11.5 runs. Tampa Bay (35-57) is a notoriously poor offensive squad with Evan Longoria being their one shining star and although the Rockies and can pile up the runs quickly at Coors Field, it will take a lot for these two teams to reach the 12 run mark.

Taking a further look at starter, Blake Snell of the Rays. he's pitched rather well. He just hasn't received any run support, which has led to a dismal 1-4 record. In his last 4 starts, Snell has went at least 5 innings on each occasion, has pitched 23 1/3 innings and allowed 11 runs. A key statistic is that Snell has only allowed 1 home run this season and that's mostly how runs are accrued when playing at Coors Field.

A "Storybook" Season
Trevor Story has exceeded expectations from a Rockies standpoint this season. Most recently, he hit his 22nd home run of the season while going 2 for 3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI along with that home run. Never say never with the trio of Nolan Arenado (23 HR, 71 RBI, .289 BA), Cargo (19 HR, 56 RBI, .318 BA) and Trevor Story, but look for a lower scoring game tonight for you MLB pick as the pitching is respectable and the Rays couldn't hit the side of a barn.

Free MLB Pick: Under 11½ -110
Best Line Offered: at Bookmaker

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2992173, "sportsbooksIds":[1537,1096,238,93,1439], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]
