It's Sunday and nothing like closing a week of betting baseball with nice payout wagering on a two-team parlay. Making two MLB Picks seems easy before the games start, but the outcome can disappoint.

Nevertheless, nothing ventured nothing gained and we have set our sights for MLB picks on two favorites against the MLB odds which as you will read, we are very price conscious.

No Discounting What White Sox Sale Can Do
Though the four-game series has not gone as planned for Chicago in Baltimore after winning six in a row, they have the perfect pitcher to end the road trip on a positive note in Chris Sale (5-0, 1.66 ERA). If it seems the talented left-hander is climbing the next plateau to be listed in the small contingent of the very best pitchers, that would be a wise assessment.

Nitpickers have noticed his strikeouts have dipped below one per inning and they should relax, seeing it is the first of May with five months remaining and given how he is throwing becoming a little more economical on pitch counts to last deeper into games and not losing one bit of top tier results is a real positive.

BetDSI has Sale the Chi-Sox as -138 road favorite over Baltimore and Ubaldo Jimenez (1-2, 3.91). At this point you know what to expect from Jimenez, he's going to give up a hit an inning, walk a good amount with hard to repeat delivery and his final result will depend on how he pitches out of jams.

With the Pale Hose 12-2 when favored by -110 or higher this season, no coupons necessary to back Sale and Chicago.

Price is No Issue for Back End of Parlay
The ESPN's Sunday feature is one we are all acquainted with, the Yankees and Red Sox. New York had mediocre April and could use another very good outing like Nathan Eovaldi (1-2, 4.38) had the last time out where he no-hit Texas for six innings and went seven shutout innings on just two hits. But the Yanks right-hander despite a mid to high 90's heater, lacks the combination of quality pitches to be really effective.

David Price might be 3-0, but he's had a mixture of good and quite poor outings accounting for 5.76 ERA. He has been a good luck charm for the offense which has piled up 7.2 runs a game when he has been Boston's starting pitcher.

Price does not have a sparkling ERA against New York at 4.04, but the one aspect he has come through on the teams he's pitched for is win and that combination is 19-11 in this spot versus the Yankees.

Boston is posted as a -150 favorite on MLB odds on the last contest of the week and the Yankees have lost nine of 12 versus left-handed starters and if they also happened to be on the road, that number falls to 1-6.

In doing the math, taking Sale and Price at these prices should show a profit of $187 and change on $100 wager if they come through.
