Red Sox (Lester) vs. Giants (Lincecum)

Covered by Jeff Grant

Things are getting mighty interesting in the AL East. The Red Sox just lost two of three against the Yankees and are 3-7 over their past 10 games, meaning they're now only one game ahead of the Rays.

The Giants continue to disappoint, but they have at least gone an even 31-31 at AT&T Park this season. Tonight's game will involve Tim Lincecum and Jon Lester and Jeff Grant has decided that the ‘Under’ 7 runs is the best play.

Rays (Price) vs. Orioles (Tillman)

Covered by Joe Freda

As we mentioned, the race in the division is heating up, so it's a good thing for Tampa Bay's sake that David Price will be pitching tonight. Price is 5-1 with a 2.71 ERA on the road this season and has a 2.14 ERA in 46 and 1/3 innings over the second half.

Baltimore turns to Chris Tillman, with the baseball betting odds showing the Orioles as +120 home dogs. Joe thinks we should look towards the ‘Under’ 7.5 runs in what he believes will turn into a tight divisional battle.

Dodgers (Ryu) vs. Marlins (Fernandez)

Covered by Willie Bee

Some may think the Dodgers are the easy play here, but you may want to think twice because of the way Jose Fernandez has been performing in 2013. Plus, at home he's gone 5-0 with a 1.39 ERA in 11 assignments.

The Dodgers are clearly the better team overall and are playing lights out at the moment, but are they the best value sports pick tonight? In Willie's mind they are, as he's siding with the Dodgers at -135.

Nationals (Zimmermann) vs. Cubs (Samardzija)

Covered by Joe Freda

Though the Nationals have been playing better as of late, they've still been hard to trust out on the road. They're 24-34 outside of the nation's capital on the year, but fortunately for them they face a Cubs team that's just 24-38 at Wrigley.

Chicago has had a hard time at home against right-handers lately, and Zimmermann is one of the best around when on his game. Joe sees value on the visiting Nationals here and will back them at -134.

Pirates (Liriano) vs. Padres (Cashner)

Covered by Ron Patrick

One significant reason the Pirates have done as well as they have? The terrific pitching of Francisco Liriano, who's 13-5 with a 2.68 ERA on the season. Last week he went into Busch Stadium and completely shut down the Cardinals – can he get it done on the road again tonight?

It may be tougher than many think. After all, the Padres have a solid home record (33-29), and Andrew Cashner is 5-2 with a 2.51 ERA at PETCO Park this year. Ron likes San Diego (+119) in this spot.

Astros (Harrell vs. Rangers (Garza)

Covered by Willie Bee

Here we have the biggest favorite of the day in the form of the Rangers, quoted at -290 to win over the Astros tonight. Heavy chalk didn't work out so well for Texas backers yesterday, with Seattle winning 4-3 in Arlington over Yu Darvish and company.

Matt Garza has held current Houston batters to an average of .216 over his career, but that's not enough to sway Willie away from his ‘Over’ pick. He thinks runs will be the order of the day, with Texas likely to get after Lucas Harrell early and often.

Morning Odds

By: Steven Suarez

Red Sox (Lester) vs. Giants (Lincecum)

Covered by Swinging Johnson

The Red Sox just wrapped up a tension-filled series with their rivals and it's time for them to head back on the road. They'll take on San Francisco, with morning MLB odds showing the Red Sox at -125.

Rays (Price) vs. Orioles (Tillman)

Covered by Joe Freda

Chris Tillman has some very good numbers this season, and he's been getting a lot of run support en route to a 14-3 win-loss record. The Orioles, however, are home underdogs (+115) against David Price and the Rays.

Dodgers (Ryu) vs. Marlins (Fernandez)

Covered by Willie Bee

Pretty good debut MLB seasons for Jose Fernandez and Hyun-Jin Ryu, right? The two will be on the mound tonight in Miami and right now we find Ryu and the scorching hot Dodgers at -120 to win.

Nationals (Zimmermann) vs. Cubs (Samardzija)

Covered by Joe Freda

Jordan Zimmermann looked much more like his old self five days ago, keeping the Giants to just six hits and one run over seven innings. Tonight the Nationals are -135 road favorites at Wrigley Field.

Pirates (Liriano) vs. Padres (Cashner)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Now that's how you bounce back. After getting hammered for 10 runs by the Rockies, Francisco Liriano came back and pitched a complete-game gem in St. Louis. The Pirates are -140 chalk in San Diego today for our baseball picks.

Astros (Lyles) vs. Rangers (Garza)

Covered by Willie Bee

How will Matt Garza respond after a shaky outing (5.2 IP, 8 H, 4 ER) against Milwaukee last week? He gets a seemingly easy matchup at home against Houston, with oddsmakers making the Rangers humungous -285 favorites at many sportsbooks.
