Rangers (Garza) vs. Rays (Cobb)

Covered by Willie Bee

The Rangers are in dire need of a win, so it's a good thing they have Matt Garza set to start. Garca is 9-5 with a 3.79 ERA overall this season and has gone 4-3 with a 3.44 ERA on the road. He has however yet to face Tampa Bay in 2013.

It's just been a miserable time for Texas lately though and now they face an equally hungry ballclub, who will send out their own strong starter in Alex Cobb. Cobb hasn't been quite as good over his past two starts, but he's gone 5-0 with a 3.09 ERA at home this season.

Garca is obviously familiar with Tropicana Field from his days in a Tampa Bay uniform, but Willie doesn't think we're in for a pitchers duel tonight. He's backing the two offenses instead and selecting the OVER 7.5 runs to come through at the sportsbooks.

Padres (Cashner) vs. Pirates (Burnett)

Covered by Ron Patrick

As it stands, the Pirates can't really afford many more slip-ups. They're fighting tooth and nail with St. Louis for the division crown and need to take advantage of this lengthy home-stand coming up.

It starts with A.J. Burnett on the mound for Pittsburgh and Andrew Cashner going for San Diego. Burnett has been hit for 11 hits and 10 earned runs over his last two appearances, but both came on the road. The righty has been far better at home, where he's 4-3 with a 2.32 ERA in 12 overall starts. Burnett also held the Padres in check (7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K) last month.

The Pirates could find it hard to get anything going against Andrew Cashner though, as he's gone at least seven strong in five straight outings. That's one of the reasons Ron is adding the UNDER seven runs to his sports picks for Monday.

Indians (Kazmir) vs. Royals (Shields)

Covered by Willie Bee

Both teams are still in the playoff hunt, but it's the Indians that are really making a move right now. They're on a four-game winning streak and would take over one of the two Wild Card positions with with a win here, considering either Texas or Tampa Bay will be on the losing side tonight.

James Shields start for Kansas City. Interestingly enough, he's been significantly better on the road than he has at home. In 14 starts at Kauffman Stadium he's gone 2-6 with a 4.94 ERA, as opposed to a 9-3 record and 2.12 ERA outside of Kansas City. Cleveland's hitters have hit a combined .247 against him in four starts this season.

It will be left-hander Scott Kazmir on the hill for Cleveland and he's 2-6 with a 4.23 ERA on the road, while posting a 4.43 ERA in four appearances against Kansas City in 2013. For this opener, Willie sees sports betting value on the road team and will be picking Cleveland at +142 in the MLB odds.

Morning Odds

By: Steven Suarez

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the number of good sports betting opportunities are starting to run out. Here's what to expect on Monday night.

Rangers (Garza) vs. Rays (Cobb)

Covered by Willie Bee

Boy this is really getting ugly for the Rangers. They've lost six games in a row and their lead atop the Wild Card standings is only a half-game now. It's not like it's going to be easy here on the road against a motivated Tampa Bay team either.

The pitching matchup tonight is solid too, so this should be one heck of a game. MLB odds have the Rays are favored at -140 at home.

Padres (Cashner) vs. Pirates (Burnett)

Covered by Ron Patrick

It's dead even in the NL Central, as both Pittsburgh and St. Louis are 87-62 for the season. The Pirates have the advantage of being at home for their next seven games though, starting with this four-game set against San Diego.

Even better, A.J. Burnett, who's been a stud at home throughout 2013, will be on the mound for the Pirates. They can be found at -170 to win tonight's opener.

Indians (Kazmir) vs. Royals (Shields)

Covered by Willie Bee

A four-game winning streak for the Indians has them within touching distance of a coveted Wild Card spot. As for the Royals, they're 3.5 games back in the race, but have an excellent shot at a win with James Shields (11-9, 3.38 ERA) on the bump.

Scott Kazmir has been his usual erratic self as of late, alternating good starts with bad starts over the last month. With that said, it's not terribly surprising that Kansas City is trading at a pretty high number of -155.
