The Angels and Jays are even at a game apiece in their four-game series at Rogers Centre; so how are we betting Wednesday's Game 3 so we can cash on the MLB betting odds with our MLB picks? Find out here!

Angels-Blue Jays Wednesday Betting Odds
In the early betting Toronto and Drew Hutchison were favored by around -120 over Anaheim with Jered Weaver, the total posted at 8.5 runs. The Jays could also be found at upwards of +175 on the MLB betting odds giving the run and a half on the run line.

Wednesday Set-Up
Toronto took the opener of this series Monday night 10-6, but Anaheim took Game 2 Tuesday 3-2. The Jays banged out 17 hits Monday, six for extra bases, then managed just four hits Tuesday. Toronto led Tuesday 2-1 through six innings, but gave up a run in the seventh and another in the eight, and could not rally.

With a recent 9-4 run the Angels are above .500 at 20-19.

Toronto, on the other hand, has lost eight of its last 10 games to drop to 18-23.

Last year Anaheim took five of seven games from the Jays.

Wednesday's Starters
These two hurlers squared off one year ago, in May, when Weaver out-pitched Hutchison in a 9-3 Angels victory.

Hutchison is three-for-eight on quality starts this year. Last Thursday he held Houston to two runs through six innings, with nine strikeouts, and just before that he limited Boston to one run through five innings. Those two performances were certainly welcome, after Hutchison had been tagged for 12 runs over his previous two starts. On the season Hutch has allowed 29 ER and 50 hits through 42 1/3 innings, with 14 walks and 38 strikeouts; Toronto is 5-3 in Hutchison's starts, with the totals skewing OVER by a 6-2 margin, in part because his ERA is over six, and because he's gotten some super run support.

Hutchison started once against the Angels last year, giving up three runs on three hits and four walks in less than five innings of that 9-3 Toronto loss.

Weaver is four-for-eight on quality starts this season, and two for his last two. Last Friday he held Baltimore to one run through 7 1/3 innings, and just before that he tossed a six-hit shutout against Houston. On the season Weaver has allowed 25 runs and 54 hits through 50 2/3 innings, with just six walks but also only 24 strikeouts; Anaheim is 3-5 in Weaver's starts, with the totals going 3-4.

Weaver started twice against Toronto last year, giving up just one run and four hits through 8 1/3 innings; the Angels won both those games.

In The Pens
The Anaheim bullpen ranks 13th in the Majors with a 3.43 ERA, going 13-for-20 on save chances, while the Toronto pen ranks 19th in ERA at 3.92 but is just six-for-12 on save opportunities.

Wednesday's Batting Splits
Toronto ranks 11th in the Majors against right-handed pitching this season with a .723 team OPS, while Anaheim ranks dead last against righties with a .611 OPS. The Angels are 13-16 against RH starters this year.

Totals Betting Trends
Anaheim is 12-3 on the UNDERS over its last 15 games, simply because while it's been getting some decent pitching, the bats have been cold.

Games played at Rogers Centre this season have leaned UNDER by a 10-7 margin, even though they've averaged 9.3 runs.

Angels-Blue Jays Free Picks
Weaver owns a slight edge in the pitching match-up, but Anaheim's lineup is terrible against RH pitching. So we like the Jays to take Game 3. Also, these two starters have combined to allow just four runs over their last four starts, so we're thinking UNDER for our  MLB picks.
