Let us help you get your weekend started right. Here's how the early morning MLB odds are shaking up.

Braves (Medlen) vs. Phillies (Martin)

Covered by Willie Bee

Not only have the Braves totaled 40 runs over their last four games, they've also won seven straight after consecutively sweeping St. Louis and Colorado at home. Now it's time for the Braves to try and match that level of production out on the road.

They'll run into Ethan Martin, who makes his career big league start. Kris Medlen and the Braves are -145 chalk despite being on the road.

Giants (Bumgarner) vs. Rays (Archer)

Covered by Jeff Grant

Have you seen what Chris Archer's been doing? There may not be a hotter pitcher in the majors right now, so the Giants bats could have a hard time getting anything going tonight.

Luckily for San Francisco, they'll have their own stud pitcher in left-hander Madison Bumgarner on the mound. The MLB odds, however, have Evan Longoria and the rest of the Rays favored to the tune of -135.

Yankees (Sabathia) vs. Padres (Cashner)

Covered by Willie Bee

After a day off to enjoy the sunshine in California, the Yankees get back to work as they start their series with the Padres in San Diego. C.C. Sabathia will pitch for New York and Andrew Cashner starts for the home team.

Curious as to what the odds are looking like? They're pretty even on both sides, with the Bronx Bombers currently small -110 favorites for our MLB picks.

Rockies (Chacin) vs. Pirates (Cole)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The run finally came to an end for Pittsburgh, but overall they have to be extremely upbeat about the baseball they're playing. The Pirates also have the luxury of staying at home, where they'll next welcome the Rockies.

With Gerrit Cole pitching solid since getting the call up, it's no shock that Pittsburgh is favored at -140 for tonight.

Nationals (Zimmermann) vs. Brewers (Gorzelanny)

Covered by Joe Freda

Jordan Zimmermann hasn't looked his usual dominant self lately. He really needs to figure it out as he gears up to lock horns with the Brewers, who have Tom Gorzelanny slotted in as tonight's starter.

One would have to assume Zimmermann will sort things out sooner rather than later, which is why the road team is listed as -135 chalk tonight. Will Washington get this series started off on the right foot?

Blue Jays (Redmond) vs. Angels (Hanson)

Covered by Joe Freda

Will the Angels make a stunning run and somehow make the playoffs? That seems extremely unlikely, but they do have a lot of good pieces both in the lineup and the rotation, so anything's possible.

For tonight, Tommy Hanson will try to out-pitch Todd Redmond. Hanson has a 4-2 win-loss record, but he's also sporting a 5.15 ERA and 1.51 WHIP. Nonetheless, he'll lead out L.A. as -120 chalk in this spot.
