Here at SBR it'll be a busy day, as we've covering seven different matchups. Let's get right to it.

Afternoon MLB Odds Update

Here's what's been happening with the MLB odds movement throughout the day.

Yankees (Phelps) vs. Orioles (McFarland)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The Yankees are not playing their best baseball right now and now have to contend with one of the most potent lineups in Baltimore.

Apparently that's not fazing Jeff though, as he likes the value on New York against a highly inexperienced pitcher in T.J. McFarland. He's adding the Yankees at about +110 on the road.

Blue Jays (Johnson) vs. Red Sox (Webster)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Ron got it right yesterday by backing a Boston win, but this time around he's going the other way and selecting Toronto to even up the series.

The two starting pitchers will be Allen Webster, who's had a miserable few starts for the Red Sox this season, and then Josh Johnson for the Blue Jays. With the more reliable pitcher and a better performing bullpen at the moment, Ron is picking Toronto as dogs.

Giants (Zito) vs. Rockies (Chacin)

Covered by Jeff Grant

Barry Zito's road struggles this season are widely known, which has to play a big part in why the Giants are +125 dogs in the MLB odds.

As one of his MLB picks for the day, Jeff is focusing on a play on the total. With Zito on bad form away from San Francisco and Jhoulys Chacin performing better on the road than he does at Coors, Jeff is going with the OVER 10.5 runs.

[gameodds]3/237638/?r-1=43-349-192/us[/gameodds]

Phillies (Lannan) vs. Dodgers (Capuano)

Covered by Willie Bee

Last night's game was back-and-forth, but in the end the Dodgers were able to hold on for a 6-4 victory in the opener. Tonight we have Chris Capuano up against John Lannan.

Willie correctly picked the OVER with his sports picks yesterday, but today it's time to go with a play on the side. Though it's some pretty high chalk (-150), Willie likes the momentum the Dodgers have at the moment.

[gameodds]3/237641/?r-1=43-349-192/us[/gameodds]

Nationals (Detwiler) vs. Mets (Harvey)

Covered by Joe Freda

Whenever Matt Harvey's on the mound, the Mets have a tremendous chance of scoring a victory, regardless of whether he's pitching at home or on the road.

It just so happens that he'll be in the comfortable confines of Citi Field tonight. But, Joe has decided that the best value in his mind is on the OVER 6.5 runs. Always a risky proposition with Harvey on the mound, but Joe simply feels the number is too low.

[gameodds]3/237631/?r-1=43-349-192/us[/gameodds]

Angels (Williams) vs. Astros (Norris)

Covered by Joe Freda

Here's another game in which our cappers like a pick on O/U. This time it's the UNDER that gets the backing in a matchup that features Bud Norris and Jerome Williams.

With the UNDER having cashed in five of Williams' past six road appearances, Joe is taking that trend to come through again tonight. Norris has been terrific at home and Joe is banking on him slowing down the Angels' resurgent offense.

[gameodds]3/237637/?r-1=43-349-192/us[/gameodds]

Cubs (Wood) vs. Mariners (Iwakuma)

Covered by Joe Catalano

Joe Calatano is covering tonight's game between two under-performing teams in Seattle and Chicago. The Mariners have the benefit of playing at home, while they also have to feel confident behind Hisashi Iwakuma.

In what could end up being decided by a single run, Joe isn't going to take any chances: he's sticking with Seattle to cover the money-line at a price of approximately -150.

Morning MLB Odds Report

There are some highly interesting games that stand out on this full Friday of MLB betting action.

Studs like Matt Harvey, Johnny Cueto, Hisashi Iwakuma, Max Sherzer, and Shelby Miller will be trying to get the job done tonight.

Yankees (Phelps) vs. Orioles (McFarland)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The Orioles, despite going 4-6 over their last 10, are still clinging in to their second spot in the AL East, but they're just one game up on the third-place Yankees.

That makes this week's series between the division foes all the more important. T.J. McFarland and David Phelps will be starting tonight – check back later to see how the MLB odds are looking.

Blue Jays (Johnson) vs. Red Sox (Webster)

Covered by Ron Patrick

One day after jumping all over Chien-Mien Wang, the Red Sox will be vying for another excellent offensive showing against Josh Johnson.

Johnson will be opposed by Boston's Allen Webster, who has gotten pummeled in limited appearances this season. He'll be taking a 11.25 ERA into tonight's game, with both teams listed at -105 to win.

Giants (Zito) vs. Rockies (Chacin)

Covered by Jeff Grant

Though the Rockies are 39-41 overall are are a dreadful 2-8 over their previous 10, they've still managed to go 23-18 at Coors Field this season.

It'll be interesting to see how they fare against San Francisco's Barry Zito, who's 0-4 with a 11.28 ERA in five road starts in 2013. Colorado is a -140 favorite at the sportsbooks as of now.

Phillies (Lannan) vs. Dodgers (Capuano)

Covered by Willie Bee

Last night's back-and-forth affair ended up in a victory for the Dodgers, thanks in large part to a late two-run single by none other than Yasiel Puig.

The victory pushed L.A's winning streak to six games, meaning they're now only six games back of first place in the NL West. Tonight Chris Capuano and the Dodgers are favored at right around -150.

Nationals (Detwiler) vs. Mets (Harvey)

Covered by Joe Freda

We're back at Matt Harvey in the rotation now, as he gets set to do battle with the Nationals at home. Harvey is 2-1 with a 1.82 ERA in nine home starts and has won his only start against Washington.

Let's see how New York can do as a rare favorite (-155) on the MLB odds board. Clearly the Nationals will need a good start out of Ross Detwiler, who allowed nine hits and seven runs in his latest start.

Angels (Williams) vs. Astros (Norris)

Covered by Joe Freda

The Angels, who just swept the Tigers in Detroit, will try to keep momentum high when they head on over to Houston to play the Astros. L.A. is just 3-7 against Houston so far this season, if you can believe it.

Bud Norris (5-7, 3.60 ERA) will start up against Jerome Williams (5-3, 3.36 ERA) and the odds have the visiting Angels listed at -130 to start the series off in positive fashion.

Cubs (Wood) vs. Mariners (Iwakuma)

Covered by Joe Catalano

Don't expect too many runs when Hisashi Iwakuma and Travis Wood meet up at Safeco Field tonight for the beginning of an interleague set.

Both pitchers have been extremely effective throughout the year, with Iwakuma sporting a 2.26 ERA and Wood not too far behind at 2.85. It's the Mariners (-145), however, that are getting the love from oddsmakers as favorites.
