Friday has arrived again, meaning it's time for another completely full slate of baseball. Have you started breaking down the MLB odds already like we have?

We are following three games closely today and our handicappers have just released their MLB picks – are you on the same side as them?

Yankees (Kuroda) vs. Red Sox (Lackey)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Hiroki Kuroda has been a rock in the rotation for the Yankees this season, but his road performances have been far worse overall. While he's 7-2 with a 1.97 ERA at home, he's gone just 4-8 with a 3.82 ERA away from Yankee Stadium.

To boot, Kuroda hasn't had the best of luck against the Red Sox, going 1-3 with a 4.26 ERA in five starts. The most recent meeting actually came five days ago when he held Boston to five hits and two runs over six innings in a no decision.

As for John Lackey, he's been getting the job done at home (5-3, 2.38 ERA), but he's given up 24 hits and 12 earned runs in 18 and 2/3 innings versus New York this season. He's also 2-6 with a 4.52 ERA since the All-Star Break.

When it comes down to selecting a pick for tonight, Ron sees the most value on the total and a wager on the UNDER 9.5 runs, and those MLB odds can be found at Heritage.

Athletics (Straily) vs. Rangers (Holland)

Covered by Willie Bee

Though Derek Holland has a perfectly respectable 3.16 ERA in 13 starts at home this year, he's only 2-5, thanks to a lack of run support and some bad luck.

Holland has come up against Oakland three times in 2013 and has gone 1-1 with a 3.44 ERA, with the Athletics hitting .250 against him overall. Eleven days ago he gave up five hits and three earned runs in 4.2 IP in Oakland.

Dan Straily (9-7, 4.15 ERA) has gone 4-3 with a 4.44 ERA on the road and is 3-5 with a 3.98 ERA over the second half of the season. In four appearances versus the Rangers he's gone 2-1 with a 5.14 ERA.

We all know the implications of this series. Texas has been struggling majorly lately and find themselves three-and-a-half games behind Oakland for the division crown, so the Rangers won't be needing any extra help to get motivated here. Willie sees offense prevailing and is on the OVER 9.

Giants (Bumgarner) vs. Dodgers (Kershaw)

Covered by Willie Bee

Two nasty lefties take the bump tonight when the Dodgers and Giants continue their four-game series. San Francisco took the opener in a 3-2 extra-innings victory late last night.

Be prepared for another tightly-contested low-scoring game in game two. Madison Bumgarner, who's 7-5 with a 3.26 ERA on the road, has been pitching very well over the second half of the season and is 2-1 with a 1.64 ERA in three outings against L.A. The Dodgers have hit a measly .132 against him in 2013.

But can Bumgarner out-pitch the mighty Clayton Kershaw? Kershaw is 7-5 with a 1.56 ERA at home and is 3-0 with a 1.13 ERA in four starts against the Giants – believe it or not, they've also hit .132 against the southpaw this season.

Willie's UNDER pick was a success last night and he thinks it will come through again with these two studs pitching. The O/U is obviously low (at six), but that's not getting in the way.

Yankees (Kuroda) vs. Red Sox (Lackey)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Clearly you can never really count out the Yankees. They're only a game back in the Wild Card race thanks to a three-game winning streak. This weekend things heat up even more with a trip to Fenway to play their sworn enemies.

We have a great pitching duel to start this thing off right, but John Lackey and the Red Sox will be the clear favorites (-140 or so) at home. Check back later to see how the MLB odds shape up.

Athletics (Straily) vs. Rangers (Holland)

Covered by Willie Bee

It's been a great recent spell for the Athletics. They've built up a 3.5-game lead over the Rangers in the AL West and have a chance to pad that even more, starting with tonight's series opener in Arlington.

It won't be easy against Derek Holland, despite the fact he's been shaky so far in the month of September. The Rangers have nonetheless opened up as -130 favorites here against Dan Straily and the Athletics.

Giants (Bumgarner) vs. Dodgers (Kershaw)

Covered by Willie Bee

Who's ready for this one? The Giants have been a complete mess but this season, but they always have a shot at winning whenever Madison Bumgarner's on the mound. He's gone 11-9 with a 2.82 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 2013.

But how can you go against Clayton Kershaw? In the middle of a historic year, Kershaw has been straight money at home, where he possesses a 1.57 ERA over 109 and 2/3 innings of work. With the better overall team supporting him, the Dodgers are rightly favored at -190.
