There aren't too many huge favorites on the board for a full slate of games on Tuesday, but our handicappers are here to help in your quest to beat the books. Check out our top plays for tonight's baseball betting action.

Boston Red Sox (Workman) vs. Baltimore Orioles (Tillman)
Covered by Willie Bee
The Orioles are trying their best to catch the Blue Jays for first place in the AL East, while the Red Sox are simply trying to play catch-up after a very forgettable month of May. Should we trust Chris Tillman (5-2, 5.20 ERA) or Brandon Workman (0-0, 3.74 ERA) more when placing our top MLB betting picks? Willie thinks we should take Boston to win, despite the fact they've gone 13-18 away from Fenway this season.

He's taking the Red Sox.

Free MLB Pick:
Red Sox +105

Oakland Athletics (Pomeranz) vs. Los Angeles Angels (Santiago)
Covered by Willie Bee
After winning their fourth straight last night, the Angels have built up a crazy amount of momentum. Nonetheless, they'll enter as underdogs against Drew Pomeranz and the Athletics tonight. Pomeranz has been a revelation for Oakland this season, going 5-3 with a 2.20 ERA. Los Angeles' Hector Santiago meanwhile has been a disaster, recording a 0-6 record with a 4.82 ERA.

Willie is forecasting quite a bit of offense, and will therefore add the 'over' to his sports picks.

Free MLB Pick:
Bet 'over' 9

Washington Nationals (Fister) vs. San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner)
Covered by Ron Patrick and Joe Catalano
The Giants finally lost last night, as Ryan Vogelsong couldn't sustain his excellent performances. San Francisco also had trouble getting anything going offensively against Washington's Stephen Strasburg. We've got another intriguing pitching matchup on the agenda tonight, with Madison Bumgarner going up against Doug Fister, both of whom have been excellent for their respective teams this season.

We have two separate picks for this game, with Ron taking Washington as underdogs and Joe on the 'under.'

Free MLB Pick:
Ron: Nationals +128 // Joe: 'under' 6.5

New York Yankees (Nuno) vs. Seattle Mariners (Iwakuma)
Covered by Ron Patrick and Jeff Grant
Whereas the Yankees have lost two in a row, and seven of their last ten, the Mariners are on a great roll, having picked up victories in three straight. Seattle is 8-2 over their last 10, and has subsequently moved to 34-29 overall on the year. Again our cappers are thinking differently when it comes to tonight's game at Safeco Field.

Ron is taking on some chalk, and siding with the hotter team in Seattle, but Jeff is in disagreement. He's banking on the Yankees to get the win on the road.

Free MLB Pick: Ron: Mariners -137 // Jeff: Yankees +130

San Diego Padres (Kennedy) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (Burnett)
Covered by Jeff Grant
The Phillies continue to disappoint, dropping eight of their past ten to move to a horrible 25-36 overall in 2014. They really need A.J. Burnett (3-5, 4.41 ERA) to give them a quality start at home tonight. That's especially true since Ian Kennedy has been straight dealing for the Padres. Kennedy, despite going 5-6, has a solid 3.39 ERA and has been on a roll lately, allowing two or fewer earned runs in three consecutive outings.

Jeff forecasts a win for Kennedy and his San Diego teammates here.

Free MLB Pick:
Padres -103

St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (Odorizzi)
Covered by Jeff Grant
As one of the true elite pitchers in the majors, Adam Wainwright will try to guide the Cardinals to a win on the road. Wainwright is 8-3 with a 2.31 ERA and is coming off a great start (8.0 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 8 K) his last time out on the mound. Tampa Bay will turn to Jake Odorizzi, who's struggled to the tune of a 2-6 record and 5.31 ERA.

It's no shock at all to see St. Louis favored, and Jeff is going with the better pitcher (and team) to get the job done.

Free MLB Pick:
Cardinals -130
