Get your weekend started off right with our preview of the day's baseball activity. What are the odds looking like right now?

Yankees (Kuroda) vs. Red Sox (Lackey)

Covered by Swingin' Johnson

Welcome back to New York, Alfonso Soriano. This guy has been on an absolute tear lately, smashing in 18 RBIs over the team's last four games.

With his help, the Yankees crushed Boston last night and they'll try to do the same this afternoon as +125 underdogs.

Nationals (Strasburg) vs. Braves (Minor)

Covered by Steven Suarez

You know things are going to get good whenever Stephen Strasburg's on the mound. He pitched his first complete game his last time out and now faces a familiar foe in Atlanta once again.

The MLB odds have the Braves, who will send out Mike Minor, at a short price of -110.

Dodgers (Kershaw) vs. Phillies (Kendrick)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Here's the case of another ace having to get it done on the road. It's Clayton Kershaw's turn in the rotation once more, and that automatically means the Dodgers have a great chance at a win.

That's reflected at the sportsbooks , as L.A. is one of the biggest favorites of the day (-190) against  a Philadelphia ballclub that just fired Charlie Manuel.

Indians (Jimenez) vs. Athletics (Straily)

Covered by Ross Benjamin

Cleveland's trying to make up some ground on Detroit in the division, but it's not going to be easy against a solid Oakland team.

The Athletics will have Dan Straily on the mound, while the Indians hope to get a quality start out of hit-or-miss righty Ubaldo Jimenez. Oakland is currently at -140 to grab the victory at home.

Mariners (Hernandez) vs. Rangers (Perez)

Covered by Willie Bee

And here we are again. Will Felix Hernandez shut down the Rangers in Arlington? He's coming off a phenomenal performance against Milwaukee but things should be tougher against Texas.

When we check out the sports betting odds, we find there's not much in it. The Rangers are actually small favorites at -105, with the Mariners at +100.
