The Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees continue their weekend set as part of Saturday’s MLB betting, following Baltimore’s 4-3 win in Friday’s opener as 115 home ‘chalk.’

Orioles lefty Zach Britton (1-2, 5.51 ERA) is slated to meet Yankees right-hander David Phelps (5-4, 4.01 ERA), with betting odds makers expecting another close contest.

O’s, McLouth rally past Yanks

Orioles outfielder Nate McLouth drilled a late homer in Friday’s victory, capping off a four-run rally for his club. Baltimore’s Manny Machado logged two RBIs, while Nick Markakis and J.J. Hardy were both held to 0-for-4 nights.

New York’s Robinson Cano and Brett Gardner united to hit 5-for-10, with the Yankees edging out Baltimore in hits, 11-5. Yankees mates Ichiro Suzuki and Alberto Gonzalez went a combined 0-for-8, with Gonzalez recording the game’s sole error.

Orioles relievers Kevin Gausman and Tommy Hunter held New York scoreless over the final 6 ½ innings. The duo logged their staff’s win and save, respectively, while the battle’s seven runs ducked UNDER the ‘total’ of 8 ½.

Britton edged out at home

Britton logged his second loss in three starts with Monday’s 5-2 defeat for Baltimore to the Cleveland Indians, failing to cash as a 141 home favorite. The 25-year-old gave up three runs on six hits, lasting for five innings.

Orioles catcher Matt Wieters cracked his 10th homer of the year, while Ryan Flaherty finished 2-for-3 from the lineup’s No. 9 slot. Baltimore’s Chris Davis and Manny Machado were held to a 0-for-9 mark, leaving six men on base.

Phelps, Yanks hold off Rays

Phelps cashed as a 108 home favorite in last Friday’s 6-2 victory for New York over the Tampa Bay Rays. The second-year hurler allowed both of Tampa Bay’s runs, leaving after 5 2/3 frames.

New York’s four relievers held the Rays to one hit over the rest of the contest. Yankees veteran Mariano Rivera closed the affair’s final inning, despite not receiving a save.

Back the OVER in Baltimore

Bet365 opened Britton as a 117 home favorite, while first setting the ‘total’ at nine (OVER minus 120). Baltimore’s weather forecast calls for 85 degrees, with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.

I am backing the OVER for my sports picks in this affair, looking for some higher octane than Friday’s opener.

Phelps has allowed a 1.26 WHIP and .310 OBP away from home in combined efforts as a starter and reliever. Baltimore’s Adam Jones and J.J. Hardy have hit a combined 6-for-16 against the righty, while Matt Wieters has drilled two homers in seven at-bat’s.

Britton fared poorly in last year’s two starts against New York, lit up for 12 earned runs over the span’s six frames. Yankees mates Jayson Nix and Travis Hafner have poked a double and homer as part of a 4-for-8 mark facing Britton’s arm, while Robinson Cano and Brett Gardner have hit 5-for-10.

The OVER is 5-2 in Britton’s last seven home starts, while Baltimore has hit .268 against right-handed pitching at Camden Yards. Look for the OVER to cash here, with both sides driving in early runs.
